  1. not too keen on the Bridge End Elite it's just a take off Green Street Elite. also supposedly the clach firm are called the Grant Street Elite :015: however if the majority of people quite like the Bridge End Elite name then fair enough i'll go along with it. but i'm still loving that Forza Bridge End :001: that was class Jay_7 :clapping03: with the BENI thing how about chucking the northside and calling it the Bridge End Invincible's?? that's still unique
  2. thats exactly what i've got arranged alex. i'm making a blue, red, blue striped tifo flag. it's pretty big not huge like th ones you see on youtube but still pretty sizeable :003:
  3. aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! :004: gotcha!!
  4. in your charles it says how only 300 turned up to watch thistle's last game. how was that? were thistle the lesser of the two (supported wise) or was it more to do with what kingsmills said, alot of people couldn't bring themselves to go and watch. you would think however because it was the last ever game more would turn up. 2000 were ate the game in huntly and i wouldnt b surprised if nearly 1000 of those wear from inverness
  5. what did BENI actually stand for??
  6. i've always felt the "moray" would be a good place to hang out before headin to the match. it's right bang in the centre of town so it's easier for people to meet up and then we only need to walk a couple of hundred yards to get the free bus to the ground. i saw the moray has a tartan army banner outside it now so it seems the kind of bar that would cater for football fans. alot of people go to the iness and it's alright in there however it's a little out the way from town :020:
  7. we'll need one heck of a banner to fit that name in :016: "Forza Bridge End" i thought was pretty sound one, well done whoever it was!! :022: yeeeh alot of lower league teams in england have there own wee groups nowadays. the Aldershot Red and Blue Army are probably one of the best ultra groups in the whole of britain, was looking on their website the other night, really good!
  8. st mirren group have called themselves the Paisley "SUPRAS" after SUPporters and ultRAS = SUPRAS. i think this might be due to saints fans also feeling unsure about the use of the word ultra. like scotty says, ultras today are not what they were during the 80s. however if it means getting more people behind us and joining in, i think we should look into this new name "SUPRAS" because i feel it's quite smart. just imagen, The Bridge End Supras, WE ARE THE B.E.S.(T) :004: lol
  9. here are afew suggestions for a name i've thought up. please feel free to specify which one(s) you like or if not, please post your own suggestions!
  10. whats wrong with an ultra group?? if it motivates more people in producing a better atmosphere i don't see what the problem is. also we aint decided on a name for the group yet and we defo decided it wouldnt be loyal army cause we knew how much of a fuss it would cause 4 u fuddy-duddys :016:. i was thinking along the lines of "BRIDGE END ULTRAS" because it includes the whole north Stand not just section G.
  11. if we loose the england shield that would be the total titties :021: :021: :021: and that ultrastifo site is where i got th idea from :004: take a look it's really really good!!!
  12. I'm with Joe on this one. Oh dear me! :crazy07: Caley4life.... a red white and blue Holland flag with the words "Loyal Army"... just stop and think about what that implies three times over for goodness sake! (If you want a hint.... it's quite the wrong team!!!) In any case, blue, white and red are not Caley Thistle's colours... there's black in there too!! there's always one pessimist :016: yee but i've put loyal army in black :004: and ok i see what u mean by loyal(ist), holland(king william of orange) but fact is we shouldnt let a bunch o smelly rotten weedgie scum deter us from waving a flag that has th same colours as our club. if we do that we'll get nowhere, does that mean we can't wave a saltire cause theres no red and black in it?? ofcourse not
  13. yee in eastern europe ultras are known as being quite violent, like casuals in a way. however the real definition for ultra i believe is like you say Scotty "noisy supporters" and thats what we want to set out to do!! thanks for that Scotty, i'll be in touch later tonight as i'm kinda busy th noo. cheers :003:
  14. myself and afew of the boys up at the back of section G quite fancie starting an Ultra group. i'm hoping you all know about how the old firm and aberdeen all have successful ultra groups and in recent months livingston, motherwell and even st mirren have started their own wee groups. so why can't we?? the whole point of having ultras is that they bring more colour and atmosphere to home games and support their team vocally throughout the whole 90 minutes. we're obviously not going to be huge but if some of the older fans would be willing to join in with the fun then i really think we could encourage some of the other "quiter fans" to join in, over time ofcourse. at the moment we have a canada flag for **** hastings and a holland flag with Loyal Army on it. we're hopefully going to have some other flags and banners by the end of the season. also i've got a big TIFO flag bein organised to be made the now too. i was also wondering if the moderators would be willing to open an ultra page so we have a place to discuss about "match displays" and making new flags/banners etc. what does everyone else think??
  15. what really p1ssed me off today was how th police in the away stand let th rangers fans stand at th corners. as the game went on and on more and more joined them and nothing was done. and ofcourse i see th lads in section G got a talkin too at the start of the game again. fliping disgraceful. it's the same usuall crap, police n stewards are sh1t scared of the old firm fans but have no hesitation in telling a group of young home supporters to sit down. however after a while the lads did stand up again and made a decent bit of noise once again!! :clapping03:
  16. the north stand was bouncing the day :001:. i think that is the best atmosphere at caley since we won the 1st division, probably even better :022: lets hope the team can keep th momentum going and that that kind of atmosphere can keep happening more regularly :021:
  17. ye ok don scored th winning goal and didn't play to badly, however i thought russell duncan had a pretty decent game on saturday. he made afew clinical challenges and helped out well at the back when we were under the cosh for so long. i thought saturday was a decent effort from duncan because somtimes he can have quite a bad game. also i thought proctor was decent and did well in taken over tokely, although i did miss rosscoes burstin runs up the wing lol. its just not th same with "slim jim proctor" :002:
  18. mate i just don't get how some of our support think we're not real fans :017: :017: people in the main stand moan about our players all the time n give them a shallacking when theyre not performing, and they never get called pigs and not real fans. however if u boo 1 player thats over the limit somehow, i don't get it!!
  19. i'm 1 of those boys. rory's utter gash n should know how we feel, i n the rest of us pay his wages 4 petes sake and if he's not performin then i think i hav th right to boo him if i want. u wonder th othr week why our support is gash tincanfan?? its cz o politically correct people like you!!!!!!!! also all of those who say i'm not a real fan GTF!!!!!!! ive bn goin since we were at telford street n followed caley through thick and thin way more than alot of our othr fans who only jst startd goin since we joined th SPL. also maself and the rest of section G aint happy bout those callin us retards, demented, pigs. who are th 1s trying to create an atmosphere at a ****ty home ground?? yeee its always us!!!! not real fans :rotflmao: :rotflmao: its unbelievable wat gimps we hav as a support!!!!!
  20. lower ticket prices!!!!!!!!! build new and bigger west stand for the family section so that all of us young vocalists (hooligans lol) can congregate in th north stand, which i would change into a terrace :001: If only ehh!!
  21. football is going down the wrong route. if ticket prices were much cheaper than they are now we would see much more people in the stadium and we would probably get better atmospheres. instead we want to comfort the big buisness people who don't support the club like us real fans do. why build big lush boxes and hospitality when we can't even fill the ones we've got just now. as a small club we should be looking at bringing in a better home support by lowering ticket prices not building posh boxes for the prawn sandwich eaters (who will leave us without a doubt if we get relegated by the way). i have no doubt that we would make more money if we had more fans coming to games because of lower ticket prices than we are now with the stupid "premier package" stuff!!
  22. zibi was completely bowfin today :008: yes fraser had a shocker against killie but brew should have let him play today anyway and see if he had got over that wee bad spell. i don't think this will do much for his confidence dropping him. atleast he should b back in goals nxt week since he's able to kick the ball correctly. :016:
  23. i quite like the idea of blue and red hoops, like th rugby top we had afew season back. i'm not a fan of this seasons shirt but i personally really liked the 1997/99 shirt. the blue and white stripes with thiner red stripes and black trim. i thought that is one of our smartest shirts due to it having a good proportion of all 4 colours!! i've always thought the paris saint germain shirt was quite smart. we could copy it and have blue with a vertical red stripe down the centre with white and black trim somewhere. how about that??
  24. would it be possible for section G to be named the "official" singing section as of the start of next season? this is so that people who are wanting to buy a season ticket in the singing section will be put in section G with the rest of us.
  25. would it be possible for the supporters trust to ask the board (especially mr savage) if it is possible for the start of next season (2008/2009) that the singing section get a section to themselves in the north stand? (which the majority of the people in the singing section want) if this is unable to happen could the board look at two other possibilties: 1) put a roof on th west stand and make it a stand only for th singing section? or 2) build a new west stand (like the main stand at ross county). this means 1 half of the pitch will be used for away fans, more seating for old firm fans. also the home side of the new stand could be used as the family section. not only will the family section have new and better viewing seats but they will also be far away from the bad language of the north stand. potentially section G and section H could be used as a singing section which would mean that the large number of people that were singing on tuesday night will be a more common ocurrence. obviously idea number 1) is a cheaper idea than idea number 2), but atleast idea number 2) has a far greater potential of helping th club economically in the future. i.e. more old firm fans coming to inverness anyone else got any other suggestions??
