  1. give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime (give Hearts a hand-out and they will buy or loan players. Teach them not to over-spend and they will have a happy future) but if you donate a fiver you can help fix the plumbing and paint the stands in Vlad's stadium which he may still flog. OH YES he still owns it !!!! (quote from a Jambo talking to an inebriated ICT FAN - "honest Vlad isn't getting the money from donations we are going to repair the ground which is not ours - wink wink - fancy another pint buddy)
  2. Your post lacks cohesion and clarity. What are you trying to say? No matter how much you bleat my opinion will not change. We have great board who apply a great deal of dilligence to the governance of our team. Our role should not be to help finance Heart's successes of the past few years. It is none of our business. Have you conducted due dilligence on this organisation that you are proposing to finance. Do you even know who they are? You clearly have not got any background in business or economics. 1. The offer protects ICT's financial position as income from the average visiting club is ring-fenced. i.e. no split of income will be offered from the first 650 tickets. 2. The club will benefit to the tune of £15 for every additional (full paying) Hearts fan that attends as a result of the offer. 3. Your claims that this somehow supports a corrupt regime are unfounded. 4. Yes, as a matter of fact I did do some due diligence on the 1874 Fighting Fund...maybe you should too before digging yourself a deeper hole. 5. Qualified as a Financial Consultant aged 18, held position as Senior Compliance Auditor, Senior Risk Management Officer, Head Analyst (Change Management), Project Manager (Change Management)...all for a major banking group. Does that count as having a sufficient background in business or economics to allow me to comment on this subject? All for a major banking group? Check you out! All for a major banking group? That instills trust in us all oh wise one. All for a major banking group? I would be keeping that to myself sonny after the recent performance of MAJOR BANKING GROUPS. You could be unemployable with a CV like that my boy. Especially if you are now backing UKIOS Bank Group. Sorry in answer to question number 5 you are probably the last person I would ask on this subject. ALL FOR A MAJOR BANKING GROUP. Who the feck do you think you are? HE SHREDS WHEN HE WANTS HE SHREDS WHEN HE WANTS FRED THE SHRED WORKS FOR THE BANK HE WORKS FOR THE BANK HE WORKS FOR THE BANK TRUST MEEEEEEE I WORK FOR THE BANK GET A GRIP!!!!!!!!
  3. Hearts fans positively embraced the madman and enjoyed the fruits of his actions. They all knew his actions were detrimental whist creaming themselves with the artificial glory that came along with it. I can assure you that I am not angry. I do not get angry about such trivial issues like bankrupt clubs. I am involved in business every day of my working life and the debt and cheating of Hearts is not a priority but I have clear views on the honesty and integrity of the way clubs are operated. My interest is i the long term future of MY club. For example I have been studying the accounts of ICT over the past few weeks and I intend to make comment on them soon. Q. DONATIONS TO THE JAMBOS. - A. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE CALEY TILL I DIE!!!!! And making money from opposition fans is one way to securing a long term future. I look forward to hearing your views regarding the ICT accounts. Our accounts are strong though there is a slightly deteriorating trend for about 4 years up until 2012. Nothing to worry about though as success comes with a cost. I am keen to explore possibilities of assisting our club though and I have put our several enquiries to business contacts for sponsorship etc. Every penny helps. ICT - exemplary in financial governance Jambos - Nothing short of a disgrace and yes that does include a lot of their fans
  4. CaleyD says we should get rid for what we can get! What would the Freddos sell for in the club shop? or we could donate them to Hearts to help them to repair their stadium with a caveat that they cannot spend it on signing Ngoo FREDDO! FREDDO!
  5. Many fans on this board were and still are desperate for Rangers to be finished of last year. Again their downfall was down to one nutcase So what's the difference? I'm just curious as a Caley fan who was brought up in a Rangers supporting family why the big difference in attitudes. Is it down to jelousy, is it because teams couldnt beat them on the park, maybe thought if they could get rid of them they would have a chance at winning something?? Absolutely
  6. Well, it's like going into a restaurant and eating a meal knowing that you don't have any money to pay for it. Well said Yngwie Superb! Delighted to hear that some people can see through the fraud and deceit
  7. £400k (give or take) for NIculae If I was ICT I'd take whatever we can get for Mckay right now. It's clear that on current form he's only going to manage to secure us a European spot and that'll just end up costing us money in the long run. Best to get rid before we get ourselves into that kind of trouble!!! Best to get rid! You are having a laugh. 4 games into the season and you proposing to "GET RID" of our treasured striker. You would take whatever we could get!!!!!! A phrase that includes the words "What planet?" springs to mind.

Oh and BTW at no time, despite your inaccurate point, have I made an "economic evaluation" of any offer. My evaluation is of a binary nature and it is that I would give then nothing! Nothing at all! No economic evaluation required Oh Wise One

  10. Many other clubs are exploring means of raising finance from supporters who cannot attend matches
  11. Well said. Let us breed some confidence by taking a positive view on current achievements
  12. I think the club is doing incredibly well under Kenny. My immediate question is - Could ex-pats with highland roots throughout the globe give the club a boost by assisting people like Kenny? Do not think for a minute that I would work against the club in any way. My main point is that their are many reasonably well off non-season ticket holders across the globe who may or may not be willing contribute to the well being of our club. I know that there are people in Oz, NZ, Canada, SA, UAE,USA who follow us regularly through live streams etc
  13. I would put her up in Laurel Avenue if she really really wanted me too.......lubbely jubbely
  14. There are various models out there particularly on the continent. I have been looking at the subject and various business friends with Highland roots have expressed interest in putting their hands into their pockets to back the club. Nothing too serious yet but some of the models in Europe are fascinating including some of the very large clubs.
  15. No it will never be us! The Highlands are ours forever
  16. We should sing your new song at our next away game He zigs here................
  17. Should fans of ICT start planning to take a share of the club? Throughout Europe fans are investing in their own clubs and taking an active boardroom role in the strategy and direction of their football clubs. Although ICT are run with a good degree of financial governance is it worth exploring into how the club can kick on? Our club Inverness Thistle and Caledonian Limited had a net worth in April 2012 of minus £59k, Assets of £737k, Cash in Hand of £154k and liabilities of £1015k. Not a bad situation really. I have not studied the figures closely yet but it is obvious that gate income will not be significant for the next 10-20 years or so until certain things happen to change the mindset of various sections of the Inverness-shire population. Could we persuade 2000 supporters throughout the world to put up £200 per annum which could boost investment in the club whilst gradually acquiring a stake in the club? I think that this would be a good way of maintaining our sustainability for long term success. I have spoken to certain overseas contact with Inverness-shire roots and there was a real wiliingness to invest. Most fans going to the game yesterday probably spent well in excess of £100. An initial financial revenue increase of £400k per annum would be a welcome boost for the club and I am sure this could be gradually grown. Anyone interested in looking into a Member's Model and/or has this been discussed at the Together meetings?
  18. Was he so certain that he put them on twice?
  19. But with your zig zag style of getting to stations after games probably relates to about a 6 mile walk. Well done on that excellent time mun. Maybe we should start calling you Jinky 1st Verse He is the Jinky of the North He is the Jinky of the North IHE is the Jinky of the North Chorus He zig zags here He zig zafs there IHE is the Jinky of the NORTH Repeat 1st verse and chorus 3 times to the tune of Ritchie Foran makes C*unty look sh*te
  20. Well done for making the effort but my initial impression is that it would be more suited to Songs of Praise. I look forward to the YOUTUBE link.

  22. I'd like to think it was the pints more than the age that was the problem. Perhaps a combination of the two. As long as you enjoyed the day.
  23. I didn't hear many Jambos slagging off Vlad in Princess Street when they were parading the Scottish Cup that poor Vlad had bought them. They didn't give a sh*t how much the trophy had cost. All Jambos knew that they were heading for disaster through buying success through crazy spending but by saying nothing they were condoning the madness. Similarly Rangers and Dunfermline did the same thing. £13m for Torre Andre Flo - £9k per week for an crocked Stevie Crawford. Even when they knew they were in a desperate situation Jambo fans still condoned spending money to get 2 LIVERPOOL players in to get them through a League Cup Semi Final. Anyone who looks for sympathy from me with regards to Rangers, Hearts, Dunfermline, Livingston, Gretna and Killie can talk to the hand cos the face aint listening!!!!!!!! CALEY TILL i DIE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. I didn't stop for a comfort break but I have heard that a weak bladder is a curse for the elderly. I am sure it will come to me too!
  25. Probably East End neds that are bored, neglegted and do not know any better. Unfortunately the East End has massive social problems with high youth crime rates. It would be unfair to associate such an incident with Celtic FC much as I despise them. Their fans were excellent towards my son and I today. Glad nobody got hurt. They were nice to you but you despise them? Go to the top of the class for observation
