When Blackman celebrated his goal off the pitch Steve Conroy goes to his top pocket to book him then realises he had been booked already then does nothing

    Red Card

Blackman was booked by ref for challenge on Hayes in first half. So ref had 3 chances to give him a further card. 1 deliberate hand ball 2 kcking ball away after free kick awarded against him 3 celebrating his goal he ran off the field of play

    Red Card

I have no problem with last night's red card awarded to Grant Munro by ref Steve Conroy who missed the incident but for the help of his stand side assistant James Bee. If Munro raises his hand regardless of the theatrical actions of Aberdeen's Chris Maguire he has to go under the letter of the law. However it seems that Rory McArdle's dangerous two footed lounge on Graeme Shinnie which could have broken his leg merited a straight red and later Nick Blackman previously booked for his goal celebrations later deliberatley handled the ball then kicked the ball away both yellow card offences yet neither were punished with a second yellow card.
  8. If Adam Rooney's goal scoring can get a SPL top six place and with Clydesdale Bank sponsor money of ?85,000 for every League place It might be a shrewd investment keeping him until the end of the season.

  10. HIGHLAND NEWS 20th January 2011 UNDER-pressure Hibs boss Colin Calderwood is hoping to land Caley Thistle striker Adam Rooney on a pre-contract. The Dubliner, who has scored 14 SPL goals this season, was in talks with the Edinburgh club yesterday (Wednesday), ICT boss Terry Butcher confirmed, although these dicussions were at an early stage. Hibs were dumped out of the Scottish Cup by part-time Division Two side Ayr United on Tuesday and Calderwood quickly needs players to help fire them out of trouble. This news comes as speculation that Swiss club Young Boys of Bern was poised to make an offer. Last week, Russian club Kuban Krasnodar had a ?100,000 offer for the hitman rejected. Butcher said: "Adam is talking to Hibs, possibly along the lines of speaking about a pre-contract, which would see him move in the summer. It's early days, however, and our full attention is on the Hamilton game this Saturday."

  15. The word from Dingwall is that Sean Higgins has had talks and will be joining Dunfermline in the summer.
  16. I heard that Grant may be struggling for next weeks home match against Hibs.
  17. It wouldn't surprise me if either Simon Mensing of St Johnstone and Tam McManus of Dunfermline recieve a call in the next few days. They both fit the bill as they are both out of contract with their current clubs (both have declined to sign new deals) and most impotantly they would fit into our current wage structure. Either or both of these players would be a welcome addition to our squad .
  18. It would appear that Craig Dargo decision will be based on the best financial offer he recieves which at present is the one on the table from ICT. Motherwell, Falkirk and Dundee Utd could not match this offer. The only worry will be if an English Championship side come on for him as only the Old Firm can compete financially with them but remember what his agent said especially his final statement. CRAIG Dargo's agent last night insisted the striker could still stay with Caley Thistle, despite rival SPL clubs attempting to lure him away from Inverness. David Baldwin, who works for London-based Base Soccer Agency, will hold talks with Dargo as soon as possible in a bid to sort out the 29-year-old's future. Dargo's current Caley Thistle contract expired Friday, but with Baldwin having been away on business in America and the former Kilmarnock forward currently enjoying a short break, a definitive decision has yet to be made. The player's agent, however, did confirm that one SPL club had submitted an offer to secure Dargo services, while a couple of other teams from Scotland's top flight have intimated their interest in the striker. Baldwin refused to be drawn on the SPL side who had made the offer, but Motherwell are believed to be one of the sides monitoring Dargo's situation with great interest. Falkirk, who had previously been linked with a move for Dargo, are understood to no longer be tracking the player. "Whenever I've spoken to Craig he has always talked fondly about Caley Thistle and you can tell he's really enjoyed his time at the club," said Baldwin, whose company client list also includes the likes of Celtic forward Kenny Miller, Everton striker Andy Johnson, Leeds hitman David Healy and Welsh international Robert Earnshaw. "He knows that he runs the risk of perhaps going elsewhere and it not working out whereas he has the option of re-signing for a club that wants him, while the fans have really taken to him. "Sometimes it can be a case of better the devil you know, but the first task is to talk to Craig as soon as possible to see what he wants to do. Inverness have made him a very good offer and he is grateful for that, so he has a lot to think about. However, no matter what his decision is he will speak to Inverness first to give them the opportunity of having first refusal on him."
  19. The reason for the delay in a decision on his future by Craig Dargo is simply down to personal reasons rather than football or financial. ICT director of football Graeme Bennett is certain that the signing on fee and financial package offered to Craig Dargo will not be matched by any Scottish club outside the old firm. The truth is also that only two enquiries have been made Motherwell and Falkirk and both could not match the offer made by ICT. The only chance of a larger financial offer being made to him to him would have to come from a Championship side in England. The reason Craig has not put pen to paper yet is down to the fact his girlfriend did not settle in Inverness and has moved back down south. So despite Arab4ever's claim that Dundee Utd have shown an interest it is simply not true perhaps he should be more concerned about Rangers interest in the Ginger Whinger Barry Robson since they lost out on Scott Brown .
