In the last 10 SPL seasons the following points were the minimum required to finish 6th after 33 games - 12/13 - 43 11/12 - 38 10/11 - 39 09/10 - 42 08/09 - 42 07/08 - 43 06/07 - 41 05/06 - 45 04/05 - 43 03/04 - 39 So we're on 32 now. Can we take 12 points from the 8 remaining games in Dec/Jan and secure another top 6 finish before January is over?

Browsing this topic and saw this. I am just so jealous that you got to meet the brilliant guitarist Jimmy Scott. Died so young in 1982 at 25 when I wasn't yet in my teens. I'm going to put in a shout for Les Fridge here (fully expecting to be shot down in flames). I know Nairn have had a few quid to spend but 11 wins from their last 12 is an impressive statistic. After a dodgy start his team have really come on with eye-catching 4-1 wins over both Formartine & Wick. A born and bred Invernessian he could really help Hughes settle into his new job. Would also save having to employ a goalkeeping coach. Right I'll just go get my tin hat!
