I'm not just basing this on today's game. I've seen him play several times for the 20s and the first team and he's just not good enough. Sorry if that seems harsh but my honest opinion is that we'd be better off playing Christie/Polworth/Pepper or signing someone else instead.

Think it's time for Danny to accept that things haven't worked out for him at ICT. Seen him play several times for the 20s & first team and have never been impressed. He's nowhere near good enough for SPFL Premiership in my opinion. Would rather see the likes of Christie, Polworth or Pepper start before him.

Funny you should say that cos I was in ASDA last week and witnessed a guy putting tickets on cars that had parked in the disabled bays without a badge. Had a wee chat with him and he told me that the penalty for doing this is £70. Just an example of how people who manage a business can put in some controls to deal with the idiots.

Ryan deserves his chance, and I'm not basing this on 5 minutes against Celtic. I don't know how many under 20s games you've seen this season but I've been to quite a few. In a team regularly featuring Williams, Polworth, Pepper, Greenhalgh & Agdestein he often stands out as the class act. Besides, County are shyte. Never get a better opportunity to blood a youngster risk free.

If people would stop feeding the troll then this thread WOULD be about Ryan. Dougal is looking for a reaction...people are queuing up to give him one. If everyone had ignored him he would have gone away. Anyway, I first saw Ryan play about 18 months ago and thought he looked a special talent then. Probably seen him play about 8 times since and he has always impressed me. I think he deserves to start against County playing behind McKay, with Watkins & Doran out wide.

You will always find idiots like that in any walk of life. Frustrating I know. Maybe the most appropriate course of action would be to write to the club detailing the incident and suggesting ways that it could be avoided in future? Opening up a thread on here isn't going to go anywhere as none of the other posters would have witnessed the incident and couldn't comment. However, you probably feel a bit better having let off some steam!

Don't think a venue for the final has been decided yet. Easter Road is getting the Ramsdens Cup final in April, but I imagine the venue for the League Cup final will be announced following the semis.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that Christie Snr & Jnr were in any way slow, just not lightning quick like Evans is, or say Barry Wilson in his prime. Probably could have chosen my words a bit better!

Evans & Christie are 2 very promising players but are complete opposites. Adam has great acceleration/pace and is a brilliant finisher. Ryan has loads of skill and game awareness but just like his dad has no speed. He will always score goals though. Think they'll both be immense for us in the next few years!

Evans, Christie, Polworth and Pepper have always stood out in the 20s games I've attended this season. I think Ferguson is a bit over-rated possibly because he's been called up by Canada. Evans is a beter protspect in my opinion.

My understanding is that it's up to the club whether or not they take up the option. For example if Greenhalgh shows up well he's contracted to summer 2015. If he doesn't he will leave in summer 2014.

Priorities should be Marley Watkins, Ross Draper, Carl Tremarco & James Vincent. Would also like to see Conor Pepper & Adam Evans given another year to see if they can step up to the first team.

Totally agree with this. I watched him play for the 20s v Hamilton and Motherwell and was unimpressed by him both times. Adam Evans looks far more worthy of a wage as does Toby.

Watkins has huge potential I think. Love how he has a great understanding with Billy already. Should be played in the A Shinnie (in the hole or whatever) position for the rest of the season.

In the last 10 SPL seasons the following points were the minimum required to finish 6th after 33 games - 12/13 - 43 11/12 - 38 10/11 - 39 09/10 - 42 08/09 - 42 07/08 - 43 06/07 - 41 05/06 - 45 04/05 - 43 03/04 - 39 So we're on 32 now. Can we take 12 points from the 8 remaining games in Dec/Jan and secure another top 6 finish before January is over?

Ha ha! Yes I thought that would raise an eyebrow or two. However our previous keeper coach was hardly Peter Schmeichel but seemed to do ok.

I'm going to put in a shout for Les Fridge here (fully expecting to be shot down in flames). I know Nairn have had a few quid to spend but 11 wins from their last 12 is an impressive statistic. After a dodgy start his team have really come on with eye-catching 4-1 wins over both Formartine & Wick. A born and bred Invernessian he could really help Hughes settle into his new job. Would also save having to employ a goalkeeping coach. Right I'll just go get my tin hat!

None of these guys were over the age of 5 when Butcher quit international football!
