Inverness CT -V- Dundee
I'd love to see the look on Adams' face right now...

Also, reading the County score is enjoyable

Inverness CT -V- Dundee
From what I've heard both teams are trying to play this way. Going by the stats I can't complain we've created plenty of chances, just need to take more of them. The team will still be getting use to Hughes' style of play. I personally wasn't a fan of the style from what I had seen in pre-season but if Yogi can pull the results out of the bag then I'll complain a little less! Still time, C'MON

2 or more strikers is not needed nor will it happen. One is enough IMO.

Calum Ferguson
If another striker not coming in is to be the case I would be more than happy that Ferguson is there for backup. He may not have much experience in the first team but he is a confident player and I feel, just like Polworth and Christie, he would handle the pressure very well. The level of international football he is currently playing does not concern me. He is finding form at the moment and that's what really matters.

New Home Shirt 2014-15
seems unlikely as raith play in navy. reckon they will be in the white strip like when we play county. Raith's current home kit is white, so quite likely.

With family up here maybe it's quite likely once he finds his fitness.

I like Alan Gow, it would be good to see him sign. Maybe an experienced player to compete with Billy would spur him on to get back to his best form.

I agree with bringing in a right back and centre back. From what I've seen we do have players that are more than capable of playing out of position to cover but it would be a good idea to bring additional players in these positions IMO. Nothing wrong with a bit of competition for places either.

Elgin City vs ICT
I wasn't convinced by our forward play at all today. Several times there were perfect opportunities to have a go at goal but we continued to just pass around. I also lost count of how many short corners were taken that lead to nothing in the second half! I feel one or two new faces are needed or it will be a long and very hard season ahead. Having said that today was the first time I've seen Callum Ferguson play, he looked very sharp and he seems to have a good eye for goal, would like to see more of him!

Agreed. Despite showing some promise in the one game he played, you really have to prove yourself before making demands regarding your wages.

Pre-season friendlies
Anybody have any idea of gate prices for Elgin next Saturday?

Clach v ICT
I liked the trialist. I thought he linked up the play well at times and looked good in the air when he had the opportunity.

Just had a thought, maybe the trialist is Greg Rutherford? I believe he is still a free agent after being released from Hartlepool.

As I noted a week or so ago, he could find form again with us. I would certainly take a chance with him.

Probably Derek Riordan then...

The world cup!
I am rooting for Brazil still but the Colombians have been really refreshing to watch, I'd like to see them go far!

I guess the value of Luis Suarez will go down...

The world cup!
Had it been a player who is seen to have less quality/talent and/or little personality (be it good or bad), they would receive a much more substantial punishment. BUT because this is Luis Suarez, who is currently seen as one of the greatest players in the world today, someone who sets shirt sales through the roof, and overall rakes in money for the sport he gets off very VERY lightly. Ridiculous.

The world cup!
Completely agree, Colombia are a team to watch out for IMO. James Rodriguez has been the stand out player for me in the competition so far, he really looks the part!

Ben Greenhalgh - Football's Next Star
Can't see him sticking around Scotland. He'll disappear to make up the numbers in the lower English leagues.

I personally feel it'll come back to bite us if there are absolutely no new additions. I understand that he is happy with the current squad, but there is always room for improvement.
