    This pitch is awful.

Passes have to be lifted not stroked.

Change to a little bit more direct caley that ball is sticking.

It's hard to play direct when the ball keeps getting blown back towards our goal. Keep it tight first half then go for it second half when we have the wind in our favour.

Lewis Nicolson is a left back. For some reason, after a few appearances (and a goal) off the bench, he’s not featured even when we’ve been short handed.

He returned to Clach on loan for the season I believe.

In fairness to the manager who has been, rightly in my view, criticised for much of the season, his use of the loan system is now paying dividends with vital goals from a loan player last week and from two loan players this.

Suddenly, it looks like we have options in the squad which may expand further if Roddy becomes fit to play during our enforced extended break.

Did Samuels not sign a permanent 18 month contract?

  4. Really, really good performance. We were under the cosh for 5, 10 minutes after we scored the first but it was great to see players throwing themselves in front of shots and Mackay making some great saves to keep us ahead. There seemed a real determination and fight about the team today. For me that was Carsons best performance in a long time but I thought McAlear and in particular Sean Welsh were outstanding, completey dominated the midfield. Looks like we could be timing our return to form just at the perfect time.

Delighted to get 3 points on the board. However, celebrating our first win in 12, against a part time team who looked like they were running on empty, as if we'd won the league, just shows how far we've fallen and how desperate we've become.

I didn't notice anyone celebrating like we had won the league. I did notice for the first time in many weeks fans talking positively and been greatly encouraged by a performance and result. To beat the league leaders going into the weekend so comfortably is something that should be celebrated.

Last night was the final straw for me. Its been too much of a burden on me physically and financially to watch the same ***** get copy pasted every ******* week with nothing being changed in terms of management or tactics.

So while I'll continue supporting the team, I doubt I'll be returning to the TCS until Dodds is either sacked or voluntary leaves. The phrase "follow your team through thick and thin" comes to mind, but when EVERYONE, Fans and Players knows that Dodds needs to walk, that's when boycotts and the like need to be mentioned. Roddy is already not showing up at training for one reason or another, but apparently issues with Dodds is a prime reason. We can't keep putting ourselves through such a mind numbing 90 minutes whilst playing relegation form and not having a win since we battered Morton 6-1 BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

That's me off to Clach, and probably other Highland Clubs for the remainder of the Dodds Tyranny. Turrah.

Where have you heard that Roddy isn't showing up for training?

I'm no fan of Dodds but for a youngster breaking into the first team and not showing up for training Is a disgrace. Can you please tell us all where you are hearing this from and what the issues are because to make such accusations about a young player is bold move. Please enlighten me?

  7. I wouldn't want Robertson taking over again. To be honest I've no idea why we need to have Robertson and Scott Gardiner at the club. What do they both do? If they identify signings and neither could see we were in desperate need of defenders in January then I don't have much confidence in them. We must have one of the most unbalanced squads in the league.

Bit harsh on Barry Wilson SteveA but I actually agree but that's based on the fact that a new manager will want his own coaching team in place.

I'd keep Scott Kellacher and Ryan Esson though.

I don't think it's harsh at all. We've kept these same guys in place far to many times when we've changed managers. From what I've seen of Wilson on the touchline he offers nothing. He stands with his hands in his pockets doing not an awful lot all game. Watching him today it seems his job is to shout over to the subs to come and get ready to come on.

  9. Dodds must go. He doesn't have a clue what he is doing, the players aren't playing for him and the supporters are against him. The sooner he goes and takes Barry Wilson with him the better. The lack of fight, commitment, desire and quality today was an absolute disgrace. We don't have any kind of gameplan. Dodds is so far out of his depth it's unreal.

  10. I can't defend the team or management anymore. Today was an absolute shambles and the performance was totally disgraceful. There isn't one positive thing to take from that horror show.

Dodds and Wilson seem as clueless as each other. Wilson stands in the technical area all game and offers nothing. It's like he just wants people to see he's there.  We have no shape, no tactics and no idea what we're doing. Someone should of mentioned to Dodds that McKay and Hardy are 5"7. How the hell do they have any chance of winning long balls punted up to them against centre halfs well over 6 foot. I've no idea what formation we were supposed to be playing come the end of the game.

There was a comment a few weeks ago that this is the worst ICT team there has been which I thought at the time was harsh, but after today I would struggle to think of a worse one.

Duffy is a CB so he was playing in his natural position.

I would surmise that Dodds likes the solidity of Deas at LB so even though that's not his natural position he offers more serenity there than the likes of Harper or Nicholson.

I always thought Duffy was a right back. If like you say he is a centre half then we don't have any natural right back in our squad at all. Deas may well be solid at left back but we still concede goals and create very little at times. Haper may not be as solid defensively but he will create more chances going forward. Tricky one I guess, shame we couldn't put both their attributes into one player. We'd have the ideal left back.
