  1. Another really poor result. I really don't understand why we don't play players in their correct positions. I didn't see the game yesterday but from what I read Duffy came on and played centre half. That meant three of our back four were playing out of position which is ridiculous.

Why did we not take Lewis Nicholson on, I maybe wrong but I'm sure he is a left back and play Robbie Deas at centre half. We could even have taken one of the new signings on and put Harper back to left back. Again I assume Harper was playing in midfield which isn't his natural position.

Dodds looks to have his favourites and it seems some players are never going to get dropped no matter how poor they play. Why did Mcdonald, Jamieson and even Duffy not get a run in the team. I don't blame Jamieson going back to St Mirren if Duku is continually getting selected in front of him.

Hopefully we will see some personnel changes next week against Killie because the team needs a shake up and some fresh ideas.

  2. Poor result but in my opinion you can't fault any player for a lack of effort and commitment. For those who are blaming the management what would you do differently?

Reading the previous posts what do people think is the issues with the team? There's a lot of talk but no one seems to say what they they would do to rectify these problems. It seems most people just like to jump on the bandwagon and criticise the team but can't back it up with any justifiable response.

We are second in the league with a game in hand on the top team. If that team was Killmarnock we would all be delighted. Just because it's Arbroath suddenly it's a disaster. Yes we could create and look more dangerous than we are but we have more than 2 weeks left of this transfer window to address this.

The negativity by some of our fans by is unreal. We still have a great chance of winning this league, probably the best chance since we were relegated. I agree we're not playing well but we are in a great position in the league.

Sometimes us as fans need to remember who we are as a club and where we came from. We've no devine right to be anywhere near where we are, if we can all get behind the management and the team until the end of the season fingers crossed we will be celebrating promotion.

Although, most of us hope that Deas moves on to the Premiership at the end of the season whilst remaining in Inverness.

Exactly, that's why I said we may have agreed to look at the situation again at the end of the season if we don't get promoted.

  4. Fingers crossed the bid has been rejected because we can't afford to loose a key player when we already have a small squad. Hopefully the speculation won't effect Deas and we have agreed to look again in the summer if we don't get promoted. I don't think any supporter would hold it against Deas if he moves on at the end of the season to the premiership.

  5. I've seen some bad performances at the stadium but that must be up there with the worst. Horrible game. We never threatend, couldn't pass the ball and looked bang average all over the park. We showed next to no urgency and got exactly what we deserved. I might of missed the man of the match announcement or maybe whoever was picking it decided that none of our players deserved it. If it was the later I would fully agree with them. Every one of them was shocking.

  6. Not our best performance yesterday but last season we wouldn't of come back and won after Queens scored. Like others have said the partnership of Devine and Broadfoot seems to get better each week, although we did get lucky when Ridgers made a smart save after one of them cleared the ball straight of the other. Gardyne and Welsh really good for me.

    Ryan Christie?

I'm guessing he means Christie is number one with Polworth second and Mackay 3rd. Could be wrong though.

Can I have a pint of what he's just had please ?

I've got a feeling your the kind of guy that says their glass is half empty halfway through your pint. I apologise for being so positive about winning our first match of the season.

  9. I'm stunned with Dodds comment about not working on the back four yet. The foundations of any team is built on not conceding goals. If you dont concede goals you don't lose matches. To be nine days from the season starting and not to have done any work on the back four is unbelievable. If he's not bothered to work on it play Deas and Devine who played for the majority of last season together and get Broadfoot on the bench.
