You do realise that any yellow cards or reds (from regular league season)count towards suspensions carried into the play-offs, and while there may be 11 days, the idea of getting your best players un-necessarily injured (where they may be out for more than 11 days) is mental talk.
I actually did advocate not taking any chances tomorrow night further up the thread but was highlighting that Arbroath, in comparison, will be well rested when their next game comes round whereas whoever they face (hopefully us) will have played two games in that time.
I agree fully with Satan’s comments and just hope we do have games thick and fast after tomorrow’s.

You sending that same comment to Dick Campbell too so he's not resting his key men in his dead rubber game too!!!
After Friday, Arbroath have 11 days until their next game so can afford not to rest players.
We have 4, then another one 3 days later, then hopefully just another 4 days until we play Arbroath.

Some pretty good goals to choose from!
We should shoot from outside the box more often!
McAlear against Dunfermline was my pick.

Arbroath @ 1.80 please.

The club’s report:

All the dates are here:
https://spfl.co.uk/news/spfl-press-release-48366
If we overcome Partick, we will have Arbroath at home on Tuesday 10 and away on Friday 13.
If we get through that, we will be at home on Friday 20 and away on Monday 23.

Lewis Nicolson is a left back. For some reason, after a few appearances (and a goal) off the bench, he’s not featured even when we’ve been short handed.
Riddle may not be available to us having been on loan at Fort William for the last two months.
Hyde can play right back so is an option, and if Fyfe is available to us after his loan, he is a centre half.
I’d rest McAlear too if we can, as his form has shaded a bit in recent weeks.
Hopefully we do get a decent crowd.
When are the player of the year votes taking place?

This has appeared in the Oban Times. Sounds like the SFA don’t want to get involved in the dispute between the club and the league:
-
A 2-0 win to end the ladies’ season.
Anyone there to comment on the game?

I should have played my remaining joker to give CaleyCalum a wee bit of competition!

Cheers Gringo, do jokers need to be used in the normal league programme or can they be used in the play offs?
-
He’s a Geordie so has a pretty distinct accent!!

We released him and he’s had his betting demons so I’d be surprised if we are bringing him back.
Still think you are at the wind up!

I say, a bronze medal being the worst we can get this season.
Not exactly the Scottish Cup, but remember, Lewis Horner is back with us next season
He’s been without a club since last May. Are you at the wind up or is this for real?

Shaun Rooney for St Johnstone, Jack Brown for Peterhead and Scott Boden for Borehamwood today.
Matthew Cooper scored an own goal as Elgin lost to Cowdenbeath, with Ross Draper getting Elgin’s goal.

The livestream was good, other than the camera not picking up the nearside touch line and the commentators were good, particularly Andy Ritchie who was very complimentary about the work done by some of our players, picking out Doran and Mckay in particular.
Not a classic but we closed the game down and did enough to get the win with no apparent injuries, although the timing of Doran’s may indicate he was carrying a knock.
With more composure, Samuels and Walsh would both have had goals, whilst the ‘keeper made a great save to keep a Deas header out, so we really should have had a comfortable win.
-
Full time. 1-0 and job done in terms of third place.
Not the best game but we did have chances we should have taken.
Morton had most of the ball in the second half but seldom troubled us.
Good to see MacGregor back and his goal was well taken.

Harper on for Samuels.
-
Should be 2 up. Great break by Walsh with Mckay in support and he should have scored but blocked on the line.
-
Walsh on for Doran after 49 minutes. Doran has had a pretty good game. Presumably to rest him for the weeks ahead whilst giving Walsh game time.
-
Pretty scrappy game but we just about deserve to be ahead. MacGregor’s goal the only real highlight although Samuels should have scored when played in well by Doran and Mckay had a decent effort after a great ball by Carson.
We continue to play too many long high balls.
Morton have had plenty of the ball in our half but have not troubled us too much.
Welsh and Samuels both booked so maybe we will have changes in the second half.
We could do with another goal.

I say, Welsh doing a Vigurs?
Not really. Just bundled the player over after he gave the ball away. Morton were calling for a red but it wasn’t a clear goal scoring opportunity.
-
MacGregor! 1-0!
Shot with his left foot from just outside the box into bottom corner.
Morton gave him space but a very well placed finish to beat the goalie. Carson picked him out from a throw in.
-
Samuels played in by Doran and should have buried it but took an extra touch.
Scrappy so far.
MacGregor looking good though.

Welsh booked after 50 seconds after a poor touch gave the ball away and fouling the player who picked it up.
Waken up guys!!
