January transfer window.
Bit harsh listing Vigurs and Wedderburn amongst the list of underachievers. Wedderburn has been in and out the team. He's still adjusting to the level as well. Jury is out. Vigurs hasn't been fully fit but he signed for us late on. He's not been on the top of his game but has still played his part in getting a few results. I feel that he'll be an important player in the 2nd half of the season and earn a new deal. Silva has done nothing aside from simulation against Hearts. End the loan. Mutumbo looks good when he's got the ball and running full pelt but his final ball, be it pass, cross or shot is at times diabolical. It's not surprising that he has such a poor career goal record. He might improve. Worth keeping until the end of the season maybe. Lopez can leave. Sooner the better. Not cut out for the SPL. What's Dani Sanchez up to these days? Roberts... Well he looked good in pre season. But he's no use sitting in the treatment room. Hopefully he can get fit and show us all what earned him a deal in the summer. Keeping Storey in some capacity should be top priority. If we can get rid of Lopez and Silva. Even Mutumbo. Then a new front man would be the priority. I'd be wary about signing a winger permanently with both Doran and Roberts to return. Might find ourselves overloaded.

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Also it's not always 3 points for a booking. So a player on 15 points might be booked for deliberate hand ball or obstruction and only receive 2 points making him available for the next game. As soon as 18 points are reached tally resets to zero. However if a player has for example incurred 19 or 20 points they'll restart with the outstanding points over 18. Two disciplinary points are added to a player's record upon receiving a yellow card for: deliberate handball obstruction involving bodily contact One disciplinary point is added to a player's record upon receiving a yellow card for: delaying the restart of play by failing to move the required distance back from the ball entering or leaving the field without the refereeās permission all other offences deemed by the referee to be unsporting behaviour

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Inverness v Ross County team news (2/1/2016) Inverness (from): OF Williams, Raven, Warren, Devine, Wedderburn, Tremarco, Tansey, D Williams, Draper, Horner, Polworth, Storey, Vincent, Mbuyi-Mutombo, Sho-Silva, Brown, Vigurs, Sutherland, Ferguson, Macrae, Lopez, Esson. Defender Josh Meekings missed the Hamilton game with a knee injury as did Aaron Doran, Richie Foran and Dean Brill, also with knee injuries. All indications point to them all being still unavailable for this fixture. Meekings might be back for the 9th. Devines suspension was incurred on the 26/12/2015. Coming into effect on the 9th January 2016. I presume that if Draper reached the threshold with a booking against Hamilton then his suspension would not come into play until the next round of fixtures. Taken from an Stv article dated 14/2/2011. I have no idea if anything has changed in regards to this. "In order to receive a suspension for a succession of yellow cards in Scottish football, a player has to record 18 disciplinary points against their name on league business. In most circumstances, a sixth yellow card of the campaign results in a minimum one match ban, which kicks in 14 days after the points total is breached. Whilst most bookable offences carry an automatic three penalty points, the Scottish Football Associationās disciplinary rules also determine that certain yellow cards are punishable by a lesser tariff."

Is Owain Fon Williams so hard you could skate on him?
I thought fon Williams looked a little dazed after it, just from the highlights. Seems to be OK though.

Favourite ICT 'keeper Poll
Mark Brown was a good all round keeper. Probably our best. But I had no confidence in him at all facing penalties. Never even looked like he believed he could save one. Particularly in shoot outs. Calder is my favourite for the memory of that game. He's a legend.

Liam Polworth
A lot of people were quite disappointed when Nick Ross moved on but young Liam has more than stepped up to the plate. He's managed to force his way into the team and he's meriting his place in the team with his performances. Hopefully we can get him on a new contract pronto as he looks like he's really coming on to his game now.

I believe Meekings has a knee injury. I'll do a round up before the next game for injuries and suspensions.

Aberdeen -V- Inverness CT
Some say that a draw, on the balance of play, seems a fair result. However this negates the fact that there was a foul by Mcginn just before he scores and their penalty wasn't a penalty. It clearly strikes his midriff. If they score 2 fair goals then it's a fair result but that was robbery. And Willie Collum yet again proving how rubbish a ref he is. I don't think there's a fan in the country who thinks him any good. He's a skinny balder Willie young. I propose in referee screening processes they bar anyone called Willie from top flight football because they often tend to live up to their name.

Hearts Away
PITCH INSPECTION AT 7.15am tomorrow morning. Please check that the game is on prior to travel, especially given all the chaos with both A9 roadworks and now the bridge being KOd. I'm down in Edinburgh and it's right blowy oot there. Forecast is awful. SPFL have made no concessions due to bridge being out. I've put this on the away day travel thread as well. Be safe.

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Apologies for being away and not offering more up to day news on injuries and suspensions. For game v hearts on 5th December 2015 Suspensions - according to the SFA none of the team are suspended. (Though both Vigurs and Draper are on 4 yellows) Injuries - Tremarco (hamstring), Christie, Doran, Brill (all knee) and Roberts (groin or ankle depending on source) are all unavailable. According to the BBC - "Dani Lopez is (now) free from suspension while captain Richie Foran is closer to a return following knee problems." Inverness (from): OF Williams, Raven, Meekings, Devine, Warren, Wedderburn, Tansey, D Williams, Draper, Horner, Polworth, Storey, Vincent, Vigurs, Mutumbo, Sho-Silva, Brown, Sutherland, Ferguson, MacRae, Esson. I'll try and keep this updated fortnightly to monthly if not pre game. It's mainly a case of checking 5 or 6 different sources and putting together a picture. Can take a bit if sources are either not up to date or incomplete. Hopefully I get everything.

Team News - Injuries and Suspensions etc
Injuries - Ross Draper (ankle) Andrea Mbuyi-Mutombo (Achilles), Tobi Sho-Silva (hamstring), Gary Warren (broken leg), Jordan Roberts (groin), Aaron Doran, Dean Brill and Richie Foran (all knee) Dani Lopez (?) No current suspensions (this is due to no player being able to accumulate any points due to being injured. And being injured means they can also serve any suspensions) Last 5 form (all competitions) W, W, W, L, L.
