there was also a spare place on the bench free for Saturday and even with the likes of Ujar and Samuels fit they weren’t included in squad.
...saving on match fees, things are very tight cash wise.

What is happening folks - was Dunc spot on in his summing up ? 🤔

Honestly It's the same post match he's done for the past two months...but let's not deflect from a great result against a poor queen's side.

The problem is, that's exactly what supporters are being asked to do.

We are where we are due to years of financial mismanagement and we're being asked to back that by giving those responsible even more money.

This is not a binary situation where the Supporters Trust do what they are doing or do nothing.  There are other options for action.

Perhaps the years of financial mismanagement could have been lessened or perhaps avoided completely with a stronger fan representation at board level, positively effecting decision and direction.

Sacking the board and CEO will only result in another 'appointed' set of folk who still answer only to themselves.

I'm waiting for some juvenile call for fans boycott next...

  4. Good result considering our defensive setup - looking at how poor arbroath were for most of the first half I'm surprised we continued with 3 CB's. Showed them too much respect and almost paid the price for it...they scored with their only shot.

Hope some confidence has been restored with the result, quite a few decent performances today but again not enough converted chances. Hats off to Samuel, he was up for it from the first minute and deserved his reward.

A good platform to build from next week.

  5. The more I see of him on the touchline I feel he is increasingly frustrated that as a player he could affect the outcome of games, whilst as a manager he has nothing to offer but menacingly glaring at officials.

Hope it doesn’t happen but doesn’t seem to have done raith rovers, airdrie, Queen’s Park, partick, Dunfermline any harm dropping down, resetting and  coming back up to the championship. And probably Falkirk next season.

Airdrie and Queens Park aside,  the other teams mentioned have a half decent fan base. We don't,  most of the glory hunters have drifted away, leaving a small but hard-core band of diehards.

The assist was good play by Pepple I’m told.

Keeper parried his cross into path of Duffy, would've been harder to miss, although I have seen that happen.

My loyalty doesn't change with the wind, despite the fact my club is now down the shitter I'm not going to religiously throw money at another team every other week. I'll go to the odd game here and there as a guest and imbibe as much free alcohol as I can whilst wistfully recounting tales of a 30 year roller coaster ride that was following 'the famous ICT' .

    I'd select that one.🥲

  9. Not sure if folk haven't been reading one of the previous statements by mustake as I thought this one was quite restrained and fact based (apart from the nonsense about bewilderment at the result - it was a shoe-in) before going on to thank x y and z for support in 30th year, etc.

Ach it’s subjective, isn’t it. Unfortunately the club personalised it with regular barbed digs at Oldham and MacLennan in the media. I don’t think it’s a leap to think they in particular found it all a bit intimidating.

The digs were at these two I suppose because it was their shitshow that they lost control of... but if you're in public office, for the greater good or personal gain you are putting yourself and whatever irrational decisions you make up for debate.

This is not to be confused with a polite email now & again.

To be fair , if you're active on  'x' you will probably be experienced at media manipulation and the outcomes one can achieve, and will more likely than not enjoy the attention .

  11. A lot would disagree with claims that it was intimidation, i bet some of these councillors love a good email, especially when it's to blow smoke up their arses.

Surely public officials with online  contact details should expect some correspondence from time to time...someone has to let them know how great they are ffs.

Or are we all snowflakes now?

Well said Danger all that’s missing is “No-one likes but we don’t care” WATP

The similarities between ICT and the old Rangers is uncanny let’s hope we don’t end up in the same predicament.

Teuchters trying to act like the old firm is not a good route to go down we are a lot better than that.

Not in the centre of our community. FFS its on the very outskirts of Inverness. Nothing beyond it but waste ground.

And because its no longer in use as a golf course all the the drainage has been left to block up and is now providing a regular water feature on the ISD.
