Based on our finances, location and being January who do you suggest was available to meet that criteria which we missed?

I'm afraid I can't give you a name, then again I couldn't have named half the central defenders we loaned in.

Finances, location & time of year didn't disrupt their signings.

I haven't heard of anyone that we were looking at but turned us down,so can only assume the man in charge is happy with his dealings. 🤔

We don't need to sign anyone to replace Spoony, we have Roddy MacGregor who isn't being given much of chance by Ferguson which baffles me.

His ankles are made of poppadoms, needs to toughen up a bit otherwise he'll just go straight back to the broken pile.

  3. Loans in general are good, and if you get the right areas filled with the right qualities then everybody's happy.

Not finding a suitable replacement of wotherspoons class is the glaring deficiency.

Wonder if a midfield of Keith Bray and Roddy might have created a few more attacking options but we’ll never find out. We will however help develop players for Luton and Everton who haven’t played any senior football before.

Could be a cracking pair for league 1.

I think you may have misread my post because your response makes no sense to me.

Nothing I said in the post you initially replied to had anything remotely to do with or mentions the CEO.

I was pointing out that they (chair & vice) might not have raised the issue of irregularities if the vote had gone their way, and they wouldn't have had to bring up the 'quorate' at all, or seek advice on how to involve the full council to reverse the decision that they didn't vote for.

It plainly reads they regard their voting position was the correct one, despite the outcome although they stated that they accepted the decision and moved on.🤣

    Really?

If the original decision had gone the other way, then the club wouldn't have accepted the 'democratic process' and would absolutely be appealing it, as would have been their right.

The full council can recall any decision by the planning committee or any other committee so are exercising their right.

If it had gone the other way,  would the chair and his vice who voted against it have raised the issue as being barely quorate. Which is irrelevant anyway, it either is or it isn't, no barely about it.

They've clearly been upset and after some 'advice' on how to get their results have rustled up some signatures.

  7. Not sure who the scoreline flatters most, us or them?

Hibs second win this year, and boy did we help them get it.

For all their second half possession their shooting was weak and if it wasn't for some crap defensive decisions and a few bloopers they would have struggled if we had taken them later into the game at 0-0.

I don't think anybody ( in their right mind ) would have fancied us for a win , or even a goal would have been pushing things . Our best option was possession based football to limit their chances but we were guilty of surrendering the ball too easily,  too often and in poor areas.

Can't understand the calls for managers head, think someone is having a wee giggle there.

  8. He did have a promising start this  season before picking up injury ( where have I heard that before? )

Might be worth a shout...but where? centrally? Not been a winger for a decade now.

Most teams in our division would love to have a Roddy McGregor. Why would you not play him ? Been on that bench apparently fit so why is he not getting a game ?

    Would they?

If he had played more than a handful of games in two years he might be in  the frame. But he's been near permanently broken so will have to work his way back in.

  10. This season and this transfer window is purely about survival. Accomplish this and the proper rebuild will take place, not sure how this will relate to our youth system, hopefully DF is factoring our young players into his future thoughts by getting them game time in the remaining months of this season.

Next season push for playoffs and season 3 promotion?🤔
