There should be a separate thread for programme collectors.
I agree, i've got a fair collection of programmes now and always like to add to it.
used to collect them 20 years ago,but never been intrested in them again until this season, when i have been buying stf programmes

I was embarrassed for Ross, or maybe I should have been embarrassed for Butcher as it was him who selected the side and formation. This was too important a game to throw the youngster into and he was clearly struggling to understand where or what he was supposed to be doing..
if nick ross cant understand whats he,s supposed to be doing playing against a team like morton,he has no chnace for the future,if we get promoted,or playing against better teams

yes lo couldnt see a post about it as do nt use this site much these days

-

The Inspection
This was fixed late yesterday (Friday) morning for 0930 today, match day. There would appear to have been some kind of breakdown in communication within the SFA who appear to have arranged for a local referee to visit at 1100. Before anyone goes off on one about this, please remember that this delay might potentially have put the game on and appeared to be welcomed at the Caledonian Stadium this morning since conditions were steadily improving. The referee eventually arrived at 1115 and took a very long and detailed look at the pitch - in fact it was the longest inspection I have ever witnessed.
Your colleagues at Radio Scotland, via Chic Young's phone in programme are still pedalling the line that the ICT pitch was inspected by a local ref at 9.00am this morning, who was reluctant to make a decision, and chose to leave it up to the match ref to inspect the pitch on his arrival.
Are you still prepared to contradict that assertion?
YOU SHOULD KNOW BY NOW mr bannerman never admits when hes wrong,he was spouting rubbish on p+b about strathspey getting cash from somewhere when it was rubbish,he never came back to backup his "lies" and wont do with this one either
Huh?
yes :D

Lets look first at wages. Average U-19 wage ?150 a week (guess) = ?7800 a year x average squad of 18 = ?140k + costs of staging home games + costs of travel + insurance + kit + coaching staff. So we could be talking in excess of ?250k a year to run one team. Players could, of course, be part time in which case they'd need to be holding down other jobs so wouldn't be in a position to train alongside first team squads.
EXACTTLY,although not on the same scale iam invovled with strathspey youths(we have 3 teams at the moment, come summer will be 4,we have under 13,s 15,s+17,s and next season under 19,s)iam the treasurer so know costs invovled, and although if we have away games in fort william, wick or such like we tend to take all 3 teams as its ?300 for the bus.we have 100+ kids in our 1st season,we have just shelled out ?2500 for tracksuits for them all,?100+ for 1st aid kits, its ?40+ a time for a ref for home game(usually 3 refs at a time to pay)money for changing rooms, and we also payed out ?100+ to put 7 coaches thru there level 1 coaching badges, and although no wages to pay for kids, there still a large expense invovled in youth set ups,as you get closer to the quality mark you get grants but it takes a while

i know strathspey are trying to sign 1 of there players, and had to contact the administrators for a price,we wont be paying the asking price if we get him,but will pay substantialy below it
The vultures are circling......
the vultures have been cicrling for a while,gk hastie went last week to huntly, and the player were after, devronvale, buckie, forres and nairn are also after him
