  1. Dale went to Elgin on loan for the second part of last season. According to transfermarket.co.uk he's without a club at the minute.

If he is at Nairn then he's not listed on their website. But that could be in need of update.

dale,s at nairn there website hasnt been update for about 5 months, god they even still list chris finnigan on it,and hes signed for strathspey thistle

  2. Garry Wood (Morton 0-1 Ross County)

Rory McAllister (Brechin City 2-1 Alloa)

Craig MacMillan (Buckie Thistle 1-0 Inverurie Locos)

Dale Gillespie (Forres Mechanics 1-2 Nairn County)

Stuart Soane x3 (Rothes 0-7 Huntly)

I was having a beer with my cousin last night who plays for Huntly said that Soane is a cracking player

saw soane playing v strathspey was impressive

  3. very glad i dont spend my hard earned cash on watching that crap anymore, what a waste it would be,at least going watching strathspey thistle every week, they may get beaten the majority of the time, but at least they try there best, and none of them are on big bucks for doing next to nowt! and also i dont pay a penny to get in,so make it even sweeter giving them my support every week!

i wont be back at tulloch stadium this season, and more thna likely in the future also

Seriously, when the f*ck did this become the Strathpiss Thistle fans forum?!

Been wanting to say this for a while now, coz it's annoying as feck how all you ever do is come on here and go on about them, and how you get into their games for free and its all fine and dandy over there. Good. No one gives a f*ck though to be honest.

Back on topic.. Robbo as Manager with Bazza his Assistant, Pele as scout, Renegade as Head Coach and IHE Director of Fitba. Talk about a dream team.

    I need a drink...

little bit angry are we?? i wont be as abusive to you as you were to me,chill have a pint and mellow out,and maybe we,ll see you at seafield park one day!and you spelt it wrong its strathspey :006:

  5. iam glad i very, very rarely go to watch ict these days, was at county league game, but before that was at 1 game last season.mike smith is ruining our club and i wont be giving the club anymore of my cash, bring back morven,at least she could sort a problem out.

i go and watch strathspey thistle every week(for free)and although they get beaten most week,s you can at least see improvment on the park, and the clubs certainly going places, every club we have played at home has remarked how tidy the facilites and ground is,and the whole set up,and theres big plans in the pipeline.there website has also been improved and merchandise has arrived.

i was speaking to a guy on sat at seafield park who is/has been a ict season ticket holder for 7 season,s and he isnt gonig back,is coming to watch strthspey every week now!

  6. a lot has been said about the poor crowd,i think as the season goes on,and butrcher stays in charge it will get lower, god i was even speaking to a ict season ticket holder at the strathspey game yesterday and he said this is his last season gonig to see ict,he said he would rather watch strathspey every week

  7. nothingike football to get kids off the streets and have a reason to do something.strathspey thistle set up a youth development scheme at end if july and has over 100+ kids registered already and climbing every week, they play in under 13,15+17 leagues and have enough players in each section to field 2 teams of same age,yet every other team in league seems to pull out due to lack of players!

  8. Daniel Park Has joined keith fc on loan,He scored last night in there reserve fixture

So the highland league has a reserve league and the first division doesnt :)

    Good luck to him

highlnd league doesnt have a reserve league, must have been under 21,s or under 19,s

  9. I also got my County tickets. Cup game 4th Oct Blackieforce :)

Shop seems to have had a stay of execution for the time being

god i thought you meant you had tickets for new year game and were out very early

  10. "We are also interested in Inverness CT striker Daniel Park as we feel we can offer him a regular game which he won't be getting at Caley now they have scrapped their reserve team

    On loan or full time?

either strathspey have been quoted a transfer fee,and a loan deal wage fee

  11. Dale don't do it, don't go the team that is going to replace fort william as the worse team in britain....your far to good. get yourself at least a top half highland league team if you drop to that level, but i reckon scottish division footy for you mate i think, don't waste your talent you'll only regret it.

strathspey wont end up bottom,in nov they have fort william twice in 2 weeks,we,ll win at least 1,so watch this space

  12. McLeod has been frustrated in the transfer market over the summer months with several targets opting to move elsewhere and shun the advances from Seafield Park. The Strath boss is not letting that get him down though as he tries to bring Dale Gillespie - freed by Inverness CT at the end of last month - to Grantown. The midfielder has represented Scotland at school boy level and McLeod stated:

"I have spoken to both the player and his father about the prospect of coming to join us as he is exactly the sort of player we are looking for. He is hoping to stay in the game full time at the moment though and he has a contact in Cyprus so he might be able to get himself sorted out with a full time club over there. He said he would keep in touch with us about what his plans are."

There may be more additions on the way at Grantown with McLeod looking to strike deals for several players having failed to agree terms with both Gary Farquhar and Mark McRitchie over the last week. He added:

"We are also interested in Inverness CT striker Daniel Park as we feel we can offer him a regular game which he won't be getting at Caley now they have scrapped their reserve team

    copied from highland league website

strathspey have a couple of new additions,at training the other night, nicky walker(ex dons and gers) has joined as goalkeeping coach, and callum mckinlay(ex gers+hibs youth player, played for scotland under 16,s and gretna in spl) is also trial he is more famous for his court case though, but who cares as long as he does it on the park.also a big centre back from glasgow is coming on trial next week
