On this occasion, I actually think the club are right not to have commented. Until the SFA decision is made, there's no need for us to get involved in the drama. Keep focus on this weekend's match.

There's nothing motivational in being awarded a 3-0 walkover for a match in where the quality of play would have seen us struggle against the local primary school. If Queens have broken the rules, then they should be punished. If we benefit from that, then we need to show a bit of humility, not got all Billy Big Baws about it.

I really despair at those who think fans should just hand over their hard earned and expect nothing in return. The club have not delivered on a single promise, on or off the park, for a long time. When things don't pan out, they're either ignored/conveniently forgotten or it's everyone elses fault. The very least fans should expect is to be entertained...otherwise what's the point? I'm not having a go at the players, I don't boo players, I clap them onto and off of the park. They can only do their best and we don't often see players not trying. However, if they are set up to olay boring football, then the best they can play is boring football. That's not on them. 🤷‍♂️

We could win every game between now and the end of the season and I don't think it would make me feel any different. ICT has become a hollow, soulless club. The football is not entertaining, the feeling of being a part of things has gone and watching so many people off the pitch stealing a wage is unbearable.

That's precisely the discussion I'm trying to generate....is it appropriate? "Because it's always been done like that" is the kind if thinking that would have us all still living in caves and wiping our erse with leaves. All I see is a lot of assumption that it's a financial decision and that it saves the club money....how many other things do they do/have they done which don't make obvious financial sense? 🤷‍♂️ If we can open/use the West Stand every other game because Kindergarten 94 help generate an atmosphere that really helps the players...then does this decision mean we're willing to forego that for some matches? Most attendances for the last few seasons could be accommodated in the main stand, so why are we opening other stands for so many other games?

I ask because if we're talking a couple of stewards for a couple of hours and a couple of turnstile operators for an hour and a bit of electric, then it's low hundreds of pounds. If that decision causes some people not to attend, and comments in various places suggest this is the case, and/or it further erodes fan affinity, then is it really financially prudent? You can argue that it's ridiculous fans would take that stance, but it doesn't change the fact that they do and it shouldn't be dismissed, especially when every penny is needed. If there are other cost savings and we start getting into larger numbers, then I totally get it.

What are the actual cost savings from closing North Stand?

Apparently players are covered by the PFA if they end up out of contract while injured. We gave him another contract to keep him at the club, so nothing moral or otherwise in the decision.

I'd settle for the club having a single toe in reality right now 🤷‍♂️

I'd hope we had some certainty with Sutherland given the fact we extended his contract after he got a long term injury!
