Congratulations to AS. He is now driving the bus ICT for a while. I look forward to see the details of how he will structure the non football piece of the club. Interesting that it appears one of the previous potential buyers retains an interest in possible involvement going forward. I am pleased that a non born and bred highlander now holds the reins. Can’t do any worse than the previous incumbents. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some deals struck with past individuals that got us into the mire reappear at the club. Expect to see us playing Championship football at the UHI campus within 5 years with a 20 year rental agreement in a more realistic sized ground. Wishing AS every success. He saved the club singlehandedly and deserves the chance to take it forward. Now the hard part - delivering expectations! bc

He definitely does!!

A lifelong buddy and pay role beneficiary if AS succeeds insisting on shareholders cheering AS over the finishing line on the 11th April. Now there’s a surprise! Wonder if the supporters trust will be next to share this endorsement! bc

21:30 Kelty looking for a new manager! No surprise really!! bc

Well done CaleyD for sticking your head above the parapet and actually putting forward a scheme or model for people to shoot arrows at! The investors ‘charter’ for me needs a bit of work as these guys invariably want something for themselves and infighting of the egos may surface. It also provides the ST with too much power (when with respect they have little or no business expertise, but can influence (loose fan opinion) on major financial decisions based on this model), not sure the trustees would suffer this practice too long! That said it’s imaginative the model you’ve put forward. It deserves applause as being positive and forward thinking. Maybe also plant a seed and send a message to the new owners (when they / he is announced) the fans support in future is not unconditional. bc

That’s where we differ. I repeat anything I read on this forum is, be it BM or just about anything else to do with our team, (that turd SG being the exception {broke my own rules}) is a beacon of light compared to the few other Scottish fans forums I have looked at, ie dons, hearts, hibs, Patrick to name a few (the old firm forums are lost for ever). The ICT boys in the P&B gave up CTO long time ago, considering it a church forum for auld gits (right in my case). Returning to the issue of BM, it’s simple to me, you ‘don’t like the heat, stay out of …………’, be that manager, player, fan or any of them running the club. Last word is yours. bc

I hear what you’re saying STFU, however I can only go on what I read on this forum#. So as such any BM comment on the Cove match topic I see here is fair game / fan contribution. For me BM still can offer his experience to help the team, however he is and has been our striker for the past handful of years. He knows his goals / match return ratio has just about disappeared. QoTS his last open play goal I seen was some 6 months ago. Criticism goes hand in hand with being the teams main striker and Billy is ugly enough to shrug it of. He also knows it’s the end of the road when this season ends. I’ve only a couple of chances left to see him this season. It would be nice to see him sign off his football career with a goal from open play. I’m sure all his critics (me included) will cheer the roof off. bc # Never have and don’t have any desire to do the web outlets.

Prefect day and results all round. Can’t remember when and who had a hat trick last for us! Well done Bray and every player, manager and fans at the game today. Feel today’s results are significant. Kelty in free fall may be manager less by next week and clearly in a position to overcome. No looking back!! bc
-
Not the case. AS said clearly who he hoped (ie wanted) to be appointed when the club stated they would be applying for administration. By extension this means getting an idea of how long and how much by paying the fee. Call it a chat over a meal and glass of wine if you like. The message and signal to others is not to bother putting their name forward. Aye Ok! Monkey and organ grinder. bc

Megginson being out through suspension is a plus for us! Always considered him a dangerous player. Rotten ground and location. Always an unpredictable venue for me to gauge any form or past history. Just hoping it’s our day irrespective of injuries, form or venue and we come back up the A96 with the 3 points. bc

AS is playing the Trump game of pushing out the agenda he wants to maximise his offer exposure, garner support with the fan base and put a tight timeline on this offer to pressure and coerce the debtors and shareholders to go along. I hasten to add any of the other interested parties are at (I suspect) a disadvantage where they are late to the race to have direct face to face with RM and the ‘gang’ of other main players that AS has had from day one of Admin, (another reason for AS to go public and press his own deadline). BDO may grumble about NDA’s, breaking confidentiality and admin rules, but in the real world do I need to repeat BDO were hand picked and are paid by AS! AS is pulling all the strings and done it excellently so far. bc

Ah yes, of course!

Why can’t these players not do what Scotty wants! bc

Everyone to their own Charles. The emphasis is in the ‘if’ for me. I understand and accept you’re an ardent believer and cheerleader for AS drumming up support. No problems with that! I want to see competition for the right to own and take the club forward. Not a coronation! I truly believe that is in the best interest of the club. bc

Pumping money to keep the club going when no other local came forward or stood up was admirable (and I’ve spared no word commending AS on this forum for what he has done). That said it doesn’t mean he is the automatic inheritor or what’s best for the club going forward. Simply put I want more than a single horse race to become the owner(s). AS might have the clubs best interest at heart. I’m sure Morrison, Sutherland, McGilvary et al would say the same. First and foremost AS is a businessman and profit (for him) is the cornerstone of any / all decisions he takes. AS makes it clear he wants full control of the club. Likelihood any other owner may want the same. Simply unless others come forward and explain their plans we don’t know. Maybe that can’t be any worse than the past decade. Locals to a man I believe! We (fans) have been keen to back enthusiastically just about every new regime promising great things that for the most came unstuck or failed. Having a bit of competition at this juncture offers a better chance IMO of achieving some much wanted improvement. Be they from China, Canada or Kelty I don’t care, as long as they can succeed to this aim. bc

Personally I’d like other offers to be submitted above AS’s. That may offer the lower shareholder a better outcome than what’s on the table with AS. It raises a point that has been in my mind for some time now, in so far does BDO have a decision on who or can they recommend is the preferred bidder/offer. Ie does the potential return of creditors / shareholders trump a lower offer (AS) that carries the backing of the fans. In simple terms an owner with some credibility and track record of investment with a plan, against an unknown person or company/org that offers double??

As of right now, AS’s offer is the only show (offer) in town that has been made public. It’s got its pros and cons as all buyers do. Biggest thing going for it is AS is a known entity, he’s got a bit of dough, singlehandedly kept the club alive in its darkest hour and ultimately wants the club to be run financially (a lot) better. Downside for me would be his age and health for what would be a demanding job for the next 3 / 5 years and being the figurehead during that period. No obvious successor plan. My own preference is one if the other interested parties is a bigger operation / company that have no past connections want to take over and puts in a higher bid. New dawn and direction so to speak! bc

Hi E4C, I like the ribbing each fans give each other on forums and more so at matches. Elgin is up there in the list of teams and fans to get one over, however I don’t ‘hate’ Elgin, or come to that, any other team or their fans. You don’t need to look too far under the mask of other Scottish club fan forums (the premiership being a pit of some sad and bent minds), to see how or where this malignant path leads to. I’m sure we can rile Dingwall and Elgin fans without destroying any banter. bc
-
Interesting E4C. Every game is meaningful. And whilst any Annan victory now brings those teams above us closer, for me we have to focus on staying above Annan. I don’t know when Musa is back but I feel we will need his presence to help get there. Nothing against Aiden in goals for us against Alloa, just he is ‘green’, smallish and slight of frame, and expect teams I fear would exploit these facts. Remi Savage is out for at least one game, so that influences my prediction. Annan have an equally tough last six matches. So for what is worth: We stay up with a game to spare but it’s a fraught first four remaining matches. LDDLWD bc

Where does anyone say they will??

Spot on Scotty! I was hesitant about expressing an opinion as last week as I was just pleased we had some positive indication the club could avoid going into liquidation and retain the Scottish league licence. It was also revealing as it was despairing that the same old egos emerging as pack that will unite as the new ‘saviours’ of the club going forward. I’m hoping for the best and a new (completely different operating governance) structure is in place and not a retread of the past. The devil is always in the details however, and ‘old dogs and new tricks’ is a well used phrase, let’s see if there is a chairman, CEO and board group that can work together with the club’s interest above any personal leaning. Only time will tell!! My preference (that others had earlier muted), was for a completely new outside individual or group to take ownership and work with AS for a period until they could take full control of the reins. A birdy mentioned that a Canadian party was one of the interested parties . Know anything? bc

Jeez, thanks Charles (I think). That’s us on a good day. I know the point you’re getting across we have a loyal fan base. But if we run the average gates back from the championship (ignore the premier league as we don’t belong there), then what is the figures and trend. (I don’t know, it may be constant at 1650-ish?). My common denominator for club status is fan base. Simply put the larger your home fan number the better your team (over the piece) succeeds. If I take the championship this season, if we ICT, believe that’s where we rightfully should be then 1650-ish would have us in third bottom place (taking one of the bottom ones drop down). Before the posters come in with past playoffs how many overpriced players from the south were in those teams! (Where did that lead). The ‘big’ team in the highlands soaring on in the premier league right now started out with a more modest fan base, but they have succeeded (won the battle?) for supporters in the area. Just put it out there for when we get oot ‘o’ admin. bc
