Ferguson won't get sacked this season, but he isn't the guy to take us up a notch.
He's to football management, what Scot Gardiner is to diplomacy and good customer service skills.

I got stick on here when backing the suggestion of Imrie for the job!
Anyway, let’s not get distracted and give Big Dunc and the players our total support as they look to get us up the table.
Get us up the table?
How will that happen with the dreadful tactics he uses?
He's taking us to League 1.

Have to agree. While be had some credit in the bank from last season, he's run out of that this time. Too often his touch is poor, lightweight, bad decisions and passes which questions whether he's deserving of a start. We all hope he turns it round but right now a waste of a shirt unfortunately.
He's definitely fading away. Just like his shirt in the second half today.
Did he get a replacement shirt from the club shop or something?

let's go three league games ahead and revisit this thread.
Partick Thistle, Arbroath and Dunfermline.
I'm expecting 2 points from a possible 9.
Two 0-0 scoreline to achieve that. And one of them isn't the Partick game next week.

Don't agree with all the negative comments on here I thought the boys did okay especially the first half.
I thought ourback three of Mullen, Savage and Carracher did well enough and looked solid its our final third where we are struggling.
3-1 flattered Hibs, the first two goals were a deflections and a mistake.
Dorans goal was quality.
We need to up the tempo and be more proactive.
I agree we need a striker and just a shame Samuel was out injured.
Sorry Douglas, I can't agree. We are so insipid, one dimensional and outright boring to watch. Our defence should have just worn Santa suits and white beards and be done with it.
We are absolutely honking and we don't have enough characters or spirit to avoid a relegation play off place, at best.

I don't understand big Duncs substitutions. Why take off defenders and then replace them with more defenders?? At least we can focus on securing league safety now
And he didn't even sub the central defender on a yellow card.
It's clear to me now though, he's still emulating Everton as he wants us to be relegated as well it seems!!

Certainly not liked by many a supporter . I certainly would not invest money that would benefit towards him getting a fat wage . Maybe the club wouldn’t have been in such a precarious position by paying folk like this . Also stops a few bums on seats for sure as many have said he’s so not good for the club .
Agreed, although Ross Morrison was praising SG re the buttery farm (prefer my butteries warm) issue, so SG is safe sitting on his throne in his ivory tower.
SG may have done good re that, but the way he treats the fans means he 'has hit the target, but misses the point' of our club.

Pretty disappointed that posts removed and title changed. Haven't seen anything over the line personally
Agreed. Maybe my other recent topic 'Most boring ICT ever' should be made diluted as well and changed to 'Most ICT ever'?

I'd say it was more of an opinion than an act of abuse.
Or more of an observation based on evidence.
Evidence such as banning anyone from ICT talking to Wyness Shuffle podcast crew.
Pretty much the behaviour of a dictator I would say. Not much freedom of speech there I'd say.
Not much freedom of speech in removing 'Dictator' from subject of topic either.

Why has the title of this topic been changed? It wasn't offensive, just an observation given our CEO's way of 'controlling' our club. I disagree with the change.

Maybe we can buy Ross County now and use them as a feeder club (again).

So what now?
Club need to be more up front as to what exactly will the result of this decision be. Are we talking security for a few years, or the foreseeable future?
ICTFC being up front and transparent. That'll be a first!!

That was a hard watch. Players getting used to each other was probably a factor as was the gusty wind, but in truth, Queens showed more energy and desire and were better organised. The stats say we had 17 shots on goal (which is encouraging) but none of them made the keeper work. I'm not too despondent though. I think we do have the talent to make progress once the team gels and I think the new signings give us options we didn't have before. Savage looks decent at centre back, McAllister looked lively and Pepple looked strong and could be a good target man. Pick of the new signings at this stage would appear to be Samuel. He probably should have score again today but he holds the ball up very well and has a great work rate.
At the moment there is a pretty obvious lack of confidence in front of goal, exemplified by two awful efforts by Gilmour towards the end, but with options up front, we need to be more positive going forward. If we do that we will create more and we will score more. We also need the fans to get behind the guys on the pitch more. It means a lot to them and yet for many of our so called support, the most noise they ever make is when they are shouting abuse at their own players. It is a significant reason why the team seems to play so much better away from home. We call ourselves supporters, so let's give a bit support to the team.
Fair enough, but flip side of this is they need to man up and give us something to cheer. Forking out hard earned money week in week out has been halted by me this season and I'm not prepared to pay anymore money until there is something worth watching.

Bought a ticket for this with some optimism with the new signings, thinking we'd good rid of some dead wood and has beens in the transfer window. Can only see us getting pumped now.

It seems that some prefer to support/moan without attending, but that mindset I suspect is near impossible to change. Sometimes it's best to just leave them be, they'll miss the nose eventually.
Two sides to every story,
- If your favourite restaurant started serving crap food would you still go?
- If your preferred clothing brand suddenly dipped in quality would you still buy from them?
- If your favourite band brought out an inferior album than previous efforts would you listen to it much?
Football is another 'experience' product, and when your club no longer have any consideration for you as a customer and serve up poor quality product you are entitled to give it a miss.

Flip sake, this isn't about a strip (bogging orange one) but about much more than that. Hopefully some relevant questions and feedback are put to the 'Board Member' on Saturday 3rd February about Gardiner and his non ethical approach to the ICT fans.

Doesn't make any difference to me, as I won't be going to the meeting, but I'm with Jamie. The last time I was in there it was full of Rangers fans and even had Rangers memorabilia hanging on the walls.
Were a lot of fans not also boycotting it for this and other reasons?
Was one of the Rangers fans Scot Gardiner?

Duke, you must have given a few games “ A MISS “ during yogi Hughes tenure.
I remember one game, against Dundee I think, it took 70 mins before we took a shot at goal.
chuckle brothers football, TO YOU TO ME etc etc etc……………………..
Grampian TV had a piece prior to a Dundee utd game. John rankin, Utd at time, said we can’t afford to give ball away to ICT “ you will never get it back “
wow, some of those games were SOOOOO boring.
Granted, I remember a 0-0 home draw with Partick Thistle in the Yogi era that was mind numbing. Getting deja vu to that, but at least we had good players who are ICT legends then. Different level of players now.

Are the current tactics making us the most boring ICT team ever?
The new year home games against Arbroath, and Morton especially, were two of the most boring games I've ever suffered!!
I gave the Broomhill game a miss as I didn't fancy it. In all honesty, I don't know when I'll next make the effort to go and watch ICT as the football currently is soooooo boring to watch.
