Yes, I think I was too quick to renew, I should have waited to see what rabbits they're going to pull out of the hat. Won't hold my breath.

Not your fault in being loyal.

Customer service is poor (at best) in general these days across the board.

Technology increases by the second and we're now 24/7 with everything, but getting to speak to a person and getting what you need seems impossible with most places, companies, organisations etc.

ICTFC are maybe what has broken the camel's back for me with their poor communication and lack of customer care!! I'm just not taking it from them anymore.

Trying to communicate that to them, someone in the club is a waste of my time.

Plenty other things in life to put a smile on your face, as opposed to the negativity around ICTFC just now.

ICT are good at automatic emails - another received regarding renewal of season ticket.  I’ve already renewed. I wish they were as quick to respond to fans emails

They only want our money. Not interested in fan engagement. I'm not renewing my season ticket as I am drifting away from ICT with the way they are run and their lack of interest in us fans. Sad, but true.

Also unsubscribed from getting their emails. I'll go to the odd game but I'm just not anywhere as near as interested in going to games like I used to be.

Is it only me or is anyone slightly worried that Billy McKay hasn't signed a new deal yet 🤔.

He has to be one of the main priorities regarding getting signed up for next season!!

Budget for the important Billy probably been spent on the wrong Billy.

Lots of blah, blah and maybe this is going to happen , but then again  probably not.

None of this convinces me we are going in the right direction and there is any sustainable plan in place.

Just words to try and sell me a season ticket again.

Agreed. Put out to appease fans as opposed to inform.

Reeks of 'let's put something out' for the sake of it as opposed to information of substance.

This contempt for the people who support the club is a total turn off, coupled with miserable discount offer for current season ticket holders.

Love my club, but no #TogetherNess felt by me.

As The Clash said, 'Should I stay or should I go?', the latter is where I am heading tbh.

This was the bit that intrigued me.  Goodness knows there needs to be work to be done on the stadium if we are to get more folk coming to the games.

"Infrastructure improvements at the Stadium have been identified and exciting new commercial contracts have been progressed, some to be announced in the coming days including our technical kit partner and main jersey sponsor/partner and subject to legal agreements in the coming weeks, we hope to have important news about the Stadium and its environs."

Not going with Puma again? Would explain why there was no new strip for the cup final.

His update still leaves more questions than answers.

The man talks a lot but doesn't say or give out much clear information or facts.

Plus he continues to look after his pals, Dodds and Robertson.

I think he’s from that area as he started with Blackpool as a kid and was at AFC Fylde before joining us.

Hopefully he is under contact for next season but if Fleetwood are sniffing around he may not be, although that would be strange as noted earlier in the thread given he’s on neither the list being spoken to about new contracts or the list of those released.

Maybe ICT should 'email' him and ask him if he's contracted to 2024 or not!! 😃

  7. Do other clubs behave like this? Statement in reply to Shane Sutherland, advising of players who have been offered contracts but haven't signed up yet, stating Billy Mckay offered a new deal on reduced terms. All very bizarre and more negativity.

Don't know Scot Gardiner, main opinion of him is from Wyness Shuffle podcasts where he comes across as a bit of an arrogant and huffy man who would not be very approachable.

Being tipped towards not renewing my season ticket as don't like the way the club is run or how it communicates very poorly with us fans. 😢

think a squad built on £3.50 and a packet of crisps has done remarkably well. Play off last year, few points off second spot this year and a cup final…plus getting through the group stages. He hasn’t been able to have a settled squad over the two years but has remarkably got them to within touching distance. Yes it’s brutal to watch when half the squad were missing but there were glimpses of what could be done with the right players. They have to take risks in the injured/unheard off player but they seem to have a decent grasp - Allardice, Duffy, Deas, Shaw - who had heard of them before? Hopefully few more of the young lads goals a step. Need an older warhorse on there and a few more rough diamonds and I think we’ve got the making of a decent team.

That is absolute nonsense and perhaps is a perfect example of the acceptance of the rhetoric from above regarding player budget/size/expense. This season has seen one of the biggest and most expensive ICT squads in its 29 year history. And we’re in the Championship. The fact that you( and others) cannot see this is strange to say the least. (Perhaps the fact that wage spend is now not included in the annual accounts may have been a clue.).

Apologies for having an opinion. If it's one of the most expensive squads ever why was the majority of games so bad? I need your high level of intellect to explain that to me Sir 🤪

Not necessarily, it depends on the terms of the contract.

Vital that there is some kind of 'performance related' clause in there. I am concerned that we will be mid to bottom half (again) with Dodds's tactics and hoofball. Given the cost of living and football slipping down the priority list, I will see what season ticket cost is before condider renewing or not. The cup final story was a positive in a woeful league season.

Having the vote close a week after the last home game of the regular season is amateurish.  It's pretty contemptuous of the players and fans alike.  it's little things like this which maybe make players decide not to sign a new contract here.

Yes. ICTFC again ticking a box, but not valuing individuals as people. Happens time and again. One of my reasons for being disillusioned and contemplating whether or not I will renew my season ticket. Sad indeed.

I believe I said the same thing back in 2015. The team broke up and our downward trend started after that final.

I'm not expecting the shock we all grave but could this be a shot in the arm for the club and begin an upward trend instead? :ponder:

Certainly hope so. Good selling point to highlight to players to come here. As well as new manager and coaches!!

  12. Dodds talking about next season in yesterday's P&J is a worry. I think him and Robbo et al have new contracts tied up already. This won't be announced until after the Cup Final in fear of affecting ticket sales. You can just picture the back slapping of the old boys club in the boardroom!!

Ha Rangers might be the ideal team for some friendlies. They’re trying to work if any of the duds they have had in their bench are worth holding onto and would be more than delighted if we could stop a treble! There’s a few links there so who knows!

The further we distance ourselves from that bigoted and poisonous institution the better.

  14. If another season of Dodds 'hoofball' is what lies ahead, I won't renew my season ticket. I'll pick and choose games.

Will hate it if that happens, but cost of living, sitting watching awful football and detached feeling with the club I love sees me at a crossroads.

Also, I prefer Friday night football. Permanent switch to this might see more folk at games across the league? Worth a try, but I realise it's not an easy thing for various reasons to enforce.
