  1. Tossed the coin today, heads I go, tails I don't. Tails it was. No appetite to watch ICT at present, poor football, back office dictator and cold weather. Sad, but just not got the interest in ICT that I previously did.

I'm just going to put it out there.  I have met SG a number of times, at games and outwith, and have always found him good company, interesting and willing to chat.  He's got an almost impossible job, with no money to do it, and most criticism seems to be based on him supporting Rangers, 'Gasp, shock, horror, pearl clutching'.

What I really dislike though is that no-one actually knows the facts but everyone is absolutely sure that if it is negative it is true. Yes communication is poor, but as far as I can see we have a SLO, and a communications team, and they are the ones failing.

The man has tried things, some have worked, some haven't, but at least he has tried.

While I'm on a roll.. Let's be honest about our club and our city. Our attendances of c 2000, if you believe that, are shocking, the cub is in decline and with the best will in the world it is not Scott Gardiners fault.  The city does not support the team, for whatever reason, definitely not because SG supports Rangers, and that is what we need to fix. Getting rid of the CEO will not sort that.

    Hi Scot,

You should build on the foundations of a club/business, not blow it up with dynamite and lack of people skills.

You have been at Tottenham Hotspur, Sevco, Dundee and ICT. Where next? CEO of Avoch amateur football club?

  3. Last night was a dilemma. No season ticket for the first time in over 10 years so it was 'should I stay (at home and watch on TV) or should I go (and watch in person)'

I watched on TV. Now before I get pelters,

    - it's mid January

    - money is tight at this time

    - it's cold

    - recent matches I have attended have been sooooooooo boring tactically and a yawn to watch

    - our CEO remains on post, wearing his Sevco tie

    - our Chairman is invisible and silent

So, that's why I sat at home watching it.

The status quo will remain off field, hopefully on field brightens up soon or more games will be missed by me into the second half of the season.

Dunc confirmed pre-match that we’ve let go of players in order to free up wages, and he hopes to bring in 2 players this window.

    2 players?

Carragher already in, then one more player in is to fight off relegation at best.

Maybe you wont have long to wait and we will find out on Friday night when Dundee Hibernian visit?

Will be hard to tell from watching it on TV, as I've stopped going to matches now.

Does anyone know when his contract is up ?. He has had plenty time to make improvement's etc at the club but sadly we seem to have fallen apart more than ever with him in charge. I can't see how he can maintain his position beyond the end of this season at the latest. Time for fresh ideas and a fresh start.

No. Like Putin, he'll just keep rewriting the rules. Think he's a good chum of the 'Invisible Man' (Ross Morrison) so don't hold your breath.

There a few comments on 'X' regarding this post. Appears the away team/fans are treated like royalty.

He wouldn't have offered the same kind of hospitality to any Celtic folk. If you get my drift!!!

2k crowds,  you obviously haven't been down in a long time.

I'd hate to see actual attendance stats for the past season or two. Going by the level of support we're not even championship.

Going by what comes over the tannoy at home games.

Next game, I'll count those in attendance. Will likely be more interesting than the football match.

Aye if it wasn't for that horrendous start to the campaign we'd be right in that top 4 or thereabouts

We're a mid table Championship club. That's our level. Averaging 2K home crowds. We have repeatedly failed to be anything more than that. We are on a level with the rest of the teams in the bottom half of the Championship. We are miles off Ross County, admittedly due to Uncle Roy's money, but a fact is a fact.

I'll take a point today. Can't see us getting anymore with recent tactics and the players we have. Depressing times being an fan ICT continuing into 2024. Sad!!

Got that wrong!! Good to get 3 points.

Oakley up there with Lawrence Shankland as a lethal hitman 😆

  12. Wasn't there today (thank goodness).

Sounds like more of the same as the tactics and awful/boring/tedious football I witnessed at the recent Arbroath and Morton home games.

Those were painful and two of the worst matches I've ever been to.

Big Dunc, you need you're team to have some of the spirit you had as a player, albeit I'm not expecting them to be English Premiership level like you were.

Totally expect home attendances to keep dropping with the awful tactics and football Big Dunc is punishing us with just now!!

    Mind-numbing stuff!

Sideways passing, then backwards, followed by some more sideways passing. 🥱 💤

    Zero entertainment!

The honeymoon period is over Dunc. If that's your tactics and game plan, think again.

Most folk go to football for some entertainment and a release from the humdrums of life.

Cheer on their team and have some banter with fellow fans.

That had no joy, no excitement and had approx 2000 ICT fans feeling and sounding like Victor Meldrew.

Not good enough and I'm not going back anytime soon to waste my time watching utter s###e!!

  14. Why did we have 3 in central defence in the first half?

Harper and Davidson were not 'up the pitch' enough to make it beneficial.

This was Arbroath. That confused me? Did they get in each other's way. The defence didn't look comfortable with that set up.
