Not sure if I can travel really, takes about 4 hours to get there from here.

Will have a look for hotels in Perth and see if there's anywhere cheap!

Coming back from Scotland games I can be in the door (south Skye) not long past 11 after taking an hour to get out of the fecking city. You can even finish celebrating in the stadium at half 5 or so then head back up the road and be home at half 9.

Travelodge has already been mentioned. But the other cheap place that springs to mind is, quite appropriately for yourself, the Isle of Skye Hotel.
