Scottish Football League Restructing

Following on from the other thread where the 14 team SPL has been sounded out. There is support for and against a 14 team league however there are varying views on whether this is the best way forward.

Going into more detail, if the 14 team top league isnt what the fans want then what are the most popular alternatives?

16 team league

i only put 2 relegated but there should be a 3rd which goes to a play-off with 3rd from the league below

Yup, same. I read the promotion / relegation bit as being automatic - the play offs could have the 3rd and 4th top / bottom play off or some such combination but that could be too much, so a straight 3rd top / bottom play off would add that little bit of end-of-season interest.

I also thought that the regulating body should be kept separate from the operating body, but there should only be one league body.

Think its pretty clear that the split isnt particularly welcome.

Not suprised to see folk favouring an expanded league.

Interesting to see that the three governing bodies are deemed too much
