Over the past few months the ICTFC Community Team have been busy touring the highlands giving school children as northernly as Orkney the opportinity to see and hold the Scottish Cup. It was potentially an opportunity of a lifetime for the children that will hopefully act as a catalyst for inspiring the next generation of talented footballers.
As well as the Cup tour the Community team were busy conducting their Summer Hotshots courses which took place in Fort William, Nairn, Milburn Academy and Milton of Leys Primary. The sessions which are led by licensed and certified SFA coaches saw over 350 children take part and learn more about football as well as make new friends in a fun and safe environment.
The start of the school term has seen the weekly courses return with over 375 children from across Inverness taking part in the Soccer Schools. There are still space up for grabs for anyone who is intereted in sending their children along on the courses.
