Hi, a Spartans fan here. Hope this is the right forum for this enquiry. Can anyone provide me with information / links relating to the Scottish Cup tie which took place at Telford Street. I think the game eventually took place on a Monday evening following previous postponements.

I’ve got the match programme upstairs. Good chance there’s a match report in it, or at least the scorers. I’ll check.

Scorers were Hercher 2 Robertson 2 and Urquhart. All 3 made appearances for Caley Thistle in the first season, and Herchie lasted 3 seasons.
It was played Monday 19/1/87.
Having a problem getting my scanner to work. PM me if you want more details as I have a programme and match report and can photograph them if necessary.

Sorted. Caley went out in Round 3 to eventual winners St Mirren.

That's brilliant, John. I have the programme, but the match report will let me incorporate some details on the game in a short article I am writing for the programme for the Spartans vs. ICT cup tie. Thanks very much!
