What about having an SPL All-Stars Team like the one the MLS has.  Every year the MLS All-Stars play a different team like they are playing Celtic this year and they played Chelsea last year.  I think they also played Fulham and Barcelona a few seasons back.  I do think though that they should limit it to two players per team so it is not dominated by the Old Firm. 

There used to be league internationals mainly, although not exclusively, between the home nations. There's far too much pressure on the international timetable for there to be any hope of such matches being revived although there might be more merit in them now than at the time when, apart from the odd exception like Joe Baker, the scottish league team was overwhelminglly scottish.
