Fresh from his success in being awarded a Doctorate in Sports from Southampton's Solent University earlier in the week, Terry has added another award to his mantelpiece as he picks up the Clydesdale Bank Manager of the Month award for what has been a sizzling month
Terry Butcher is Clydesdale Bank Premier League Manager of the Month for October after the club went through the month undefeated.
He received his award at a photocall at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on Thursday and said:"I'm very pleased and see it as a reward for the whole team for their performances. We've done well but it's important that we maintain momentum in our next two games when Motherwell and then St Johnstone come to Inverness ."
Caley Jags started the month with that 2-0 home win over Aberdeen then drew 1-1 with St Johnstone, also at Inverness . They then pulled off a 2-1 victory at Kilmarnock followed by their shattering of Rangers' 100 per cent record in last weekend's 1-1 draw at Ibrox.
"Eleven months unbeaten in away games is a wonderful record but we're now looking to be more consistent at home", says Terry."Winning the award is a fine start to November and Maurice Malpas and I are grateful for the spirit and effort of the playing squad."
