QF Draw brings Celtic or Rangers

      Teaser Paragraph:

Tulloch Caledonian Stadium Celtic edge meaty cup tie to face Inverness.

Previous report was depending on your point of view, "Caley Thistle either got the best or worst possible draw for the Quarter Finals of the Scottish Cup."

That was the headlines after the inital ties were played, but we now know the fate that awaits Inverness in the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup.  Some might say it's a fate worse than death, and it possibly is as Neil Lennon and his storm troopers head North to tackle Inverness on Sunday, 13th March.  They literally had to battle hard to send Rangers out of the cup.  The game ended in a fracas as Lennon and McCoist squared up to each other, but that was not before three Rangers players were red carded by referee Calum Murray, who also issued 13 yellows.  The crucial goal was a miss-hit shot from Mark Wilson that bounced upwards into the net, deceiving everybody, but the main talking points were the unruly behaviour of the players, managers and not surprisingly after that, some of the fans as well.

The full revised draw for the Active Nation Scottish Cup Quarter Final is as follows:

Dundee United v Motherwell (sun 13:15) St Mirren v Aberdeen (sat 12:15) Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Celtic (sun 15:30)) Brechin v St Johnstone (sat 15:00)

***note the odd times of these fixtures***
