  1. Brown is not an outstanding player in our squad, it could be argued we don't have any, based on current form (a few months ago it was Black, a few weeks ago it was Dargo and Dods has been consistent rather than outstanding). It was Brown's balls up against the Dons blew our top six place (maybe a bit harsh). He still isn't commanding his area and communicating well with the back four - frequently getting in a tangle with Dods. He had a poor game in the future's match. Watching our game against Hearts, showed us that Craig Gordon is a class above Brown. Don't take this too negatively, Brown is a good keeper, it just brasses me off to hear rumours that certain players can do better else where.
  2. Barry was looking a grey on top, is he going for the 'Brew' look or was it snowing?

    ICT EXILE

Juanjo it the type of player who can make things happen on the pitch. A useful substitute to put on when things aren't going our way. Brew gave him ten 1st team minutes after his injury...not much of a chance.
  4. If they are staying and they continue to play well we can hopefully offer them a decent package to entice them to stay. What would you guys and girls prefer, get money for them this summer when they are in a contract or get nothing when they are out of contract?
  5. For ICT - Richie Hart's 40 yarder vs Alloa  Against ICT - Jamie Smith :(
  6. The strong smell of chlorine The turnstiles you had to pass through to get in Hiring a bath  Diving boards :D
  7. I hope we don't lose the players mentioned, but to look on the bright side.... Brown...hasn't been at his best lately Dods....we can replace him free of charge with Caff Black....hasn't been his dominant self since his foot injury, we can replace him with Rankin for a profit. Dargo....Remember his time at Killie and the beginning of the season for us - a striker can go off the boil. If they stay.....Ignore all of the above P.S. Spelling checker suggested Dodo for Dods

    Why boo Hissy?

Those who booed were ignorant ar5es :x It was ICT who got rid of him despite his hard work and commitment to recover from injury.
  9. I agree, we want to look to next season and test some of the youngsters. Those players who are thinking in moving on for a better wage packet - they can keep the bench warm.
  10. The article is littered with comments from AFC such as "It will save us money" "it will be self funding" "it isn't costing us a penny" "minimum cost" "cost effective" These Aberdonians never change.
  11. Spent this evening navigating round the site. I'm impressed with the new functionality and improved look and feel. Well done guys. Hopefully everyone will soon move over from the old site and the thread count will increase.
  12. Are you for or against the split? At this moment in time (after the Livi game) I am against it, but if we had won the match and the Don's hadn't beaten Hibees I'm sure I would have been raving about it!! My thoughts are: For - It was an exciting day for 3 sets of supporters this week and last. - It stops match congestion with 12 teams in the league. Against - An uneven number of home/away fixtures - Fans/Clubs unable to plan ahead for post-split matches as fixtures are decided after the last pre-split game.

    POY

Hopefully there will be more people voting as it is more visible.
  14. CC needs to get some good performances from the players (something Brew couldn't do at the end of last season) to ensure a healthy number of season ticket sales.
