  1. IMHO They should be making Season Ticket prices more attractive, then there would be more turning up for so called 'nothing games' towards the end of the season.
  2. Common sence prevailing in the ticket office as well. There is an unused seat next to me in the main stand (apart from Huns and Tims games), so they allocated it to my daughter rather than us both hiking over to the uncovered section or north stand. :022:
  3. My thoughts on the game.... We were gash, no creativity, but it's about time we got some luck. Agree with Jaggy666, why oh why did we not have a player up field or just outside the box when Utd had a corner? Michael Fraser, two cracking saves (why does he have the number 1 shirt, now? I thought players had to keep their number all season). Ian Black played well, but is back to his old ways when it comes to disapline, another b0ll0cking from CC/DP is required. Barry Willson showed some vision, unfortunately none of his team mates shared it. Grant Munro was unlucky to be sent off IMHO, look forward to seeing it again on Scotsport on Monday night, or should I say Tuesday morning. Rory McAllister was poor, it's clear we have few options up front with Wyness and Dargo out.
  4. According to the BBC our midfielder Bayne is suspended, do they mean our forward Bayne or our midfielder McBain??
  5. Not joining the Russell Duncan Fan Club just yet, but his performances in recent weeks have been much improved. Thought he got the better of the Hibs and 'Tic midfield and was surprised when he was substituted. Dodgy whiskers on Sportscene though RD!!!
  6. Great game, was gutted when they scored in injury time, the players looked distraught coming off the park. The team is performing really well just now, huge improvement over the last couple of months. Disagree about the critism of Dods. Rankin was a class act again. Felt sorry for Duncan getting taken off, I have given him a hard time over the years, but his recent performances have been much better. Good to see Charlie being a bit more vocal, thought the fourth official had the hots for the "ginger whinger".
  7. Errrr Gordon, how many ICT players were booked today? Let me help you with the answer......NONE!!! So how he can imply that we were over physical absurd!!

Duncan - two touches and he's lost the ball :004:

Golly is our club captain, but is out of favour. Dods is deputy dog and has made is future plans known. So who should be our captain on the field and should they be given the armband now? IMHO....Granty and Now
  10. The longer CC leaves it and the lower down the league we go, the more pressure will be put on Zander when he comes on. CC should have nurchured him into the first team months ago, if he's good enough, he's old enough.
  11. 3-1 deafeat against the Arabs, how sh1te do we need to be before Zander gets on!!!!! Wake up CC!!!!!
  12. Looking at the reserves it will be a bit worrying if one of our defenders gets injured early on, there only seems to be midfielders and forwards??
  13. I don't normally go to reserve games but after the cr@p on Saturday, thought it was the only way I'd see an exciting player e.g. Zander play at TCS. So I checked the next fixture..... Great we're playing the Tims on Tuesday and it's FREE!!! But wait a minute it's at 3 o'clock. What numpty schedules these games and is this normal time? It no use for adults who work 9-5, no use for kids who are at school and no use to the players who presumably play to a near empty stadium. Thoughts?
  14. EWS, Player/Coach....... :005:
  15. Back to his old job if he wants, but I think CC should be given more time, after all he was manager of the month a couple of months ago. I liked Brew's training ethos, there were things I didn't like e.g the late substitutions, but I thought he brought a buzz about the place.
  16. Player...No Player/Manager....Yes (IMHO)
  17. Have we had a penalty this season? I'm struggling to remember one. Are we not creating enough dangerous situations in the box or are we not getting any breaks from the referees? Is Barry our penalty taker this season?
  18. It looked like a career ending challenge to me, but quite a few people around me thought it was okay.
  19. crap! sh1t! grrr! bolx! Midfield AWOL. Too many balls punted up the park to Dargo and Bayne, that were mopped up by the 'well defence. Agree with the posts re. a creative midfielder, see my thread on Zander. A VERY frustrating afternoon, entertainment was non existent, where is that Barcelona-esque football you were talking about CC? If I wasn't a season ticket holder, I would be considering Christmas shopping with the wife in a fortnight rather than going to the Killie game, yes it was THAT bad!! P.S. At least I can tell my grandchildren that I was at a match where Ian Black wasn't booked, they'll never believe me :004:
  20. When will CC give Zander another chance. It is nearly 2 months since he came on last and had an outstanding 15 minutes against Dunfermline. IMHO we are screaming out for a winger who can skin a right back, and that is something the young lad can do . Come on CC get him on the park next week.
  21. When searching for a quote I read last week on the BBC News I came across a couple of headlines that made me smile: 25 Nov 2005 - "I believe it is important for any manager to show their club some loyalty" 23 Oct 2006 - "Brewster gets chairman's backing" However the quote I was searching for was when he referred to comments he made about relegation being a distinct possibility at United.... "It wasn't something I didn't say to the players". Didn't you mean "It was something I said to the players" Craig?
  22. Of course it is. As captain he should know the bl00dy shoe size of every player in the opposing team. Frankly I couldn't care less if the huns carry on underestimating ICT, as long as he adopts a more professional attitude when he dons a Scotland jersey.
  23. I read a quote from Barry Ferguson on the BBC web site, that summed up the arrogance and complacency the Huns have. Ferguson said: "Lionel saved the shot, but the guy nipped in and scored. I didn't get a good view of it, but we are not going to put the blame on him" My point....For the captain of a team not to know the name of an opposing team player is shocking!
  24. £15 is b0ll0cks!! ICT should be treating their Season Ticket holders better, I'm off to see the Stranglers instead :016: ... it's only £3 more. Crowd prediction....1500
  25. It's a Scotland team, not a 'central belt' select. The blue nose should be travelling round the whole country looking at players.
