  1. A pacey winger.....Hallelujah, there is a god!!! :021:
  2. An inept performance by most of the players for the first 80 minutes, our passing was woeful, Duncan was back to his form from last season, not what we want to see from someone pushing for an improved contract. Thought Imrie, Ike and Cowie played well. Credit to the players for the last 10 minutes, it was like a cup tie, at one point Rosscoe was on the left wing, McBain on the right :017: I still don't like the balance of the team, what's the point of having 5 in midfield and punting the ball over them. The arabs were pressurising and panicking our defence in our third of the park, but we were giving them a free ride into our half. I preferred it when we had two up front and the likes of Dargo hassled the opposition's defence up the park. We have a jolly boys outing to Hibs next week, if we get an 80 minutes like this weekend, I'll be spending longer in the pub before the match.
  3. After sone early hiccups, he has been a rock in the centre of defence and probably the most vocal of our back five. Well done Brew, a great signing :021:
  4. He has been very good this season, but in previous seasons, IMHO, his passing was poor and performances indifferent.
  5. I heard that he was stalling on contract renewal (for more money?) Bayne is unhappy being on the bench and wanting a move and wait for it.....Hart is also unhappy at his renewal offer - what a nerve!
  6. Superb, if Marius hadn't scored two cracking goals he would have been my MOTM :021:
  7. Proctor should have been back in the team after his one match suspension. The difference in his performance against the tims and Tokley's when he came on was obvious. Proctor was outstanding, Rosscoe, I'm afraid fell short of the mark. I cannot understand why Brew is playing Rosscoe before Proctor, surely things have to change on Saturday
  8. Proctor should get his place back in a fortnight after his suspension. He was clearly sharper than Rosscoe today. Thought he was superb in the second half and unfortunate to be stranded on his own for the second Tic goal.
  9. Didn't it make the victory that bit sweeter 'cause they started the "easy easy" chant when the went 2-0 up? No doubt in my mind who was the better keeper on the park. Well done Ike some outstanding saves. The defence is looking like a unit again; McGuire was a rock and Proctor was superb in the second half. Marius showed his class and strength, and Rankin, Black, Duncan and Cowie shone in midfield. There were many magic moments today, but I have to say I enjoyed Blackie winding up Scott Brown :003: Well done lads!
  10. Thought he was going to lose it today as he was getting hit right, left and centre by the Hibs players. Malky had to give him a shout at one point and he quickly cooled down. His work rate today was incredible :clapping03:
  11. In answer to the post question.....No Proctor was great in the air today and has been pretty solid during the last three games. He doesn't go AWOL up the field like Rosscoe and has more pace. It's up to Tokely to lift his game and improve his discipline. A couple of weeks ago I would have suggested playing Rosscoe in the centre half role but Grant and Phil (no not the Mitchell Brothers) seem to be working better together now.
  12. Well done Michael, hope that shuts up the "boo brigade". The back four looked more solid today, but when they lapsed Fraser was there to save them :clapping03:
  13. He's only played 4 games for 'tic in nearly a year. It may have improved his bank balance but has moved him from a international hopeful to a bench warmer.
  14. I preferred him to McBain on the left midfield, however McBain, like Duncan, has improved quite a bit this year and there are a lot of midfielders to choose from at present. I wish him well, maybe he'll go there? :017:
  15. Surely as ICT supporters we should be supporting rather than abusing the team. Yes, we all get frustrated, but picking on certain ICT players is out of order, save your energy for the opposition. If any ICT player is not pulling their weight, I'm sure they'd get a grilling from team mates and coaching staff during or after the game.
  16. I believe it's pretty much a done deal and Malky's on his way up. From what I've been told he did not have a formal contract at Chester.
  17. We were poor today, both the team, management, crowd and last but not least the ref! Can't recall a shot on target from ICT. It was even 35 minutes before we had a shot off target. I thought given the wet and windy conditions we should have been taking pot shots at every opportunity....maybe we needed Hart :023: Tokely, should be ashamed of himself, we needed some fight from the players today, but not literally in from of the ref! How many people saw Bayne's red card coming; yellow carded (unfairly I thought), then a final warning from the ref - he should have been taken off at half time. Yes the ref had a shocker but we need to learn from that performance an move on. I hate it when we lose and are sh1te....it just f*&ks up the weekend :019:

    Don Cowie

A definite challenger to Hastings as our fitest player. I had heard mixed reviews about him from county supporters, but that might have been them being cheesed off at him for pre-signing for ICT. It's early days, but I like what I see.
  19. Yep, stomach, I think I'm in for a hard time on Monday morning from Caleyfan101. With performances like that the two of you should renew your season ticket (would they give you a pro-rata deal?). Anyway on the subject of Russell, he has being improving every week this season, and merited the MOTM decision; there must have been a sponsor who knew something about football, unlike some of the embarassing MOTM decisions we have seen at TCS from time to time.
  20. I'm getting tucked into a bowl of humble pie this evening after watching what was possibly Russel Duncan's best game for ICT. I have not exactly been his greatest fan, in fact I've given him a bit of a slagging over the years, but today's performance was outstanding :clapping03:
  21. Passing Culcabock a couple of weeks ago I noticed a large flag pole in a garden opposite the golf course with a Scotland flag....very partiotic I thought :022: A week later I noticed a South Africa flag, which had me puzzled until I realised Engerland were playing South Africa at rugby....respect :021: Last weekend I was passing and I saw an ICT flag flying....Kudos :clapping03:
  22. Well done guys, from someone who was in the much quieter main stand, the bouncy bouncy was just as entertaining as ICT's performance on the field. :021: A dose of common sense is required from the powers that be. As long as you guys aren't giving the poor stewards (who are only doing there job) too much abuse, you have my full backing.
  23. Niculae is a class act...nice touches, strong, good vision and tackles well and he was replaced by another classy player, Brew, he was just on the park for 5 minutes but won everything showed good distribution of the ball and had the killer instinct when it mattered. I'll be glad when Hastings is fully fit as McBain was like a lost sheep at left back.
  24. Would have preferred the subsitution 20 minutes earlier, but then it wouldn't have been so dramatic. I love Saturday nights when we win :001:
  25. Have to say I was sceptical when we signed him, especially when I heard pretty poor comments on him when he was playing for the tinks. But he has blended in well from the start of the season and thoroughly deserved the MOTM today.
