  1. Going to the Stanglers as well, hope the venue does well.....use it or lose it.
  2. Looks like I'm in the minority, I think Brew is a OK lad, but that's a thread that's already been exhausted. If Black performs the way be did today against the Arabs then I don't think many teams will be looking to sign him.
  3. Still waiting for the Barcelona-esk football at TCS that CC was taking about when he took over.
  4. Thought the support was more vocal that usual today (againts the Arabs), I think we play better on the break which is more a tune to playing away, however when we have to take the initiative at home or against lesser teams we seam to stuggle.
  5. Draw was a fair result, although Brown was a busier keeper than Stillie. Thought Black was pretty poor, Munro was superb and McBain had another good game, that is until he was anounced as the MOM.
  6. They haven't learned the lesson from the dismal turnout for the Dumbarton game which if I remember correctly was £12 for an adult and about 1100 turned up (the crowd was possibly bolstered by the good weather that night).
  7. My tuppence worth... We missed Dargo's runs and movement big time. Rossco had another poor one, his pushes forward can be good but he needs track back better, all too often its up to Black, Dods, Rankin to cover. I liked ICT's attitude going for the equaliser when we were 2-1 . There is no point sitting back and consolidating the score that gives us no points, might as well go for it and entertain the supporters as well. Hopefully against lesser teams it will pay off. On the way back into town I overheard hearts fans saying that the score flattered them, a look at the stats clearly confirms this. Bayne's and Barry's miss..............ouch!!!
  8. No keeper CaleyD, that is different :004: Would like to see, Fraser, Caff, Hart, Morgan and Bayne start.
  9. Dumbarton Taking my father-in-law from Marseille to the game, he's used to 60,000 supporters at a match, may be in for a shock. Hearts On the early train there and the late one back, looking forward to some fine hospitality on Gorgie Road
  10. Munro was outstanding even before the goal. Dods again was a rock, covering well went Rossco went walk about up front. Agree with putting Bayne on from the start, he gives us a better aerial presence and blends well with Dargo.

    DENZIL

We looked much more potent when Bayne came on today against the Tims, it gave us a better aerial presence up front. Bayne should start against Dunbarton/Hearts next week.
  12. Tokely is lacking fitness, however any right back in the country would have stuggled against Sproule's fresh legs. Luckily we had Dods to cover for Rossco when the whippit got past (cracking phone of Dods' fury at Sproule on cagleyjags.com). Hopefully the more games he gets under his belt will see him back to his best. Given his commitment to the club and the outstanding performances he has had time and time again, he deserves a bit of patience from the ICT fans.

    Dods

Dods played a blinder today against Hibs, despite what some may think about his off field antics, he is a true professional on the field.
  14. Thought he was okay in the first half, but had a stinker in the second half.
  15. Our midfield lost it's shape when he came off. Not a good decision from CC.
  16. Looking at davieB's list we look flakey in the defence especially if we are hit with injuries. Thought Parratt looked good when he came on against Alloa and had a good turn of pace. Hastings (Good) Munro (Good) Dods(for how long??) Proctor (for how long??) Caff (Establishing himself back into the team) Tokely (IMHO, not preforming to his usual standards....yet) Golly (Has been cr@p for the last 12 months)
  17. We may regret letting him go. I thought Rossco looked sluggish last season, Proctor has more pace, and like Rossco is capable of scoring goals, however none as good as Rossco's against the Arabs last season. The only doubt I have about him is the two dislocated shoulder injuries he has suffered from. It could become a recurring problem that haunts him throughout his career. I agree with L_G he is a friendly guy and if he has to go to a lesser team, such as the Arabs , to get a regular game then good luck to him.
  18. Got a fright when I saw the new team photo, I thought it was Ian Polworth at the back middle until I zoomed in an realised it was Alan Morgan......Note to diary - Call Specsavers
  19. We have cover for Dods and cover for Black, however I hope they stay. Tanadump is a graveyard for players and managers.
  20. Whith so few posters selecting Golly in the starting 11 it must surely raise the question again about his role as club captain. As for my starting 11... Brown Caff - Dods - Munro - Hastings Wilson - Keogh - Black - Rankin Wyness - Dargo
  21. If only the TV commentary and analysis was balanced, I might support Engerland (maybe not). Motty et al would do well to listen to some of Bill MacLarren's rugby commentries and learn a few lessons from the master. There was never any bias in what he said and he always looked for something positive to say about both teams.
  22. I think he will do well if he eventually takes on a coaching role, IMHO he is by far the most professional of the ICT players when it comes to training.

    Club Captain

    1. Dods (A true professional) 2. Tokely (What passwion for the club, pardon the cliche, but be gives 110%) 3. Munro (ICT through and through)
  24. We need to keep Fraser and play him more often. The run of games Broonie had was rediculous, nobody should be kept on the bench for that length of time.
  25. Talking about Brew and fitness, he was in Livingwell training at lunchtime, an indication of what a professional he is and why he is still playing in the SPL at 39. Bit cheeky though, he was wearing Utd training gear :018: Agree with comments about each manager adding their own strengths to the club, it's up to CC to continue these and add his own.
