I don't think it's a Commer or Austin with the grill that it has but am no expert in the bus world. It could have any running gear and built with a different body. I would guess it is somewhere on Lewis
I had a suggestion it was a Trojan. Somebody on the Stornoway page.

Back in the day, people would tow their old vehicles out to where their peat banks were, so they had somewhere to shelter in a shower. I probably took this about 1980 and it’s not there anymore.

Yup, awful. Start with a strong team and get the game won first, then introduce the young players. That was too much responsibility for Hyde and Mackay to take on. Neither of them are ready, that’s if they ever will be.
High point of the game was probably caley100 with his head in his hands as Robbie Deas came up for the last spot kick He didn’t half bury it though.

They had Garry Wood banging in the goals last season but his wiki page is a bit duff, he seems to be at Locos now.

Yes between Tyndrum and Crianlarich looking west to Ben More, Stob Bennein and Cruich Ardrain. I thought you might have done the West Highland Way at some point and recognised it
Walked it in 1983 a couple of years after it opened I think. But I know that skyline well

Thanks Mantis the BBC didn't look right!
No surprise there then. Probably just as likely a 4-2-3-1 with Allardice and Cammy holding but the bbc have got Samuels and MacKay on opposite wings.

Carson was right back. Cammy was in midfield. Looked a bit like a 4-5-1 first half with Billy up front.
CammyCan’t wait to see the two belters again. Dundee dominated but tbh Ridgers never had a lot to do. Deas and Devine won nearly everything they could throw at us from their many free kicks and corners. McMullan was probably their best player. Looked a bit ominous when they were able to throw on players like McGinn, Rudden and McGowan but after the red card we just took the piss. Delaney looks like being a player

Just been watching a really good programme on Trusadh on BBC Alba about buses in the islands. It’s no 4/13 and it seems to be repeated on Tuesday at 2200.
