Forgot about this. Cuffed 5-1.

When I saw Duffy bounce off the big no 24 Adarkwa in the first minute I thought we were in for a long afternoon, but he was absolutely hopeless.

Just checked and you are right with 4-1 in Nov-96.
As Max Boyce used to say…

Must be our biggest win at Gayfield? It’s a ground ICT have always hated playing at but we have had good results there recently.
A 4-1 Christie-inspired win in 96-7 which put us top at 4.45 and I think we stayed there. Did we not take seven off them once in the League Cup?
Henderson is a pler. Still need Allardice back. Hope Daniel’s not missing another spell. A rather needless early booking for Devine. Very encouraging second half for us, much improved from the first. A bit meh being stuck behind the goals. Support was great today, as were the steak & black pudding pies. Lewis Nicolson
As @ymip remarked, a fair few Sneckie lads on the pitch at the end of that game.

Sitting dreaming of the good old days. What a fantastic journey! We, like most other clubs of limited means, have seen ups and downs.....but many more ups than downs. What we are witnessing is sad and hard to bear but, over a quarter of a century, supporters of most clubs our size will never have experienced the highs we have. Bucharest seems a long way off......but we got there. Most supporters couldnt dream of that. This looks like a potentially terminal decline. We have been spoiled down the years. A lot seem to be voting with their feet and can hardly be blamed for that stance. We are not entitled to success on the field . I am thankful for the joy and many friends that supporting ICT has brought me. Can I take this opportunity to wish all those connected to the club a Happy Christmas and a better 2023. I paid my tenner last night to watch the Partick game and confess to switching off at half time. I said to my wife that I cannot believe its a friday night and my team is playing in Glasgow and Im not there.....didnt even consider it. I am however sure that everyone is trying their best.......its all anyone can do.......but it just aint good enough right now. We are not entitled to success. Our time may come again although this looks unlikely for the foreseeable future. My suggestion is ...ease the pain by remembering some of the good times. You will wake up with a smile on your face.
All the best troops!!
Happy clappy, sentimental bollocks. If you're not angry at how your club has been mismanaged since 2017, there's something wrong with you. Merry Xmas.

Away to Glasgow Women who were beaten 0-10 at home to rangers last week if it's of any relevance.

Inverness CT 2 Livingston 1.
Kayleigh MacKenzie and Natalie Bodiam scoring the goals to put the team through to the next round of the Scottish Cup
Great stuff, did a spying job on possible next round opponents as Bonnyrigg beat QoS 3-1

Being saying this kind of thing for years Jug. The fan experience is pretty poor and has been for years, Still queuing in the rain and mud for half time refreshments ( North stand) still going to the toilet in a portacabin, I find it quite sad.
Inverness is a huge population growth area and we're not engaging very well.
Also interviews with Gardener and Dudds were very careful in content, wish someone would have the guts to confront them with stuff that Jug mentions.
No fault of Moff and the guys, but Gardiner used the last podcast as 90 mins of free advertising. What a great guy. Judging by his prickly reaction to one small criticism it’s not hard to see him pulling the plug if the guys give him a hard time.

Is Welsh injured again? It’s a big ask for Lewis Hyde starting him in CM against any team, never mind Dundeh. Mibbe even better with Boyd in there.
Who got injured today then? -

In Edinburgh for a long weekend, So I looked at the team and thought, will we score today? Oakley leading the line confirmed my fears.
Thought you weren’t there, missed your usual updates and moans
Should have come out to Bonnyrigg, decent game. -
One of the few highlights of the season, beating that mob in their own midden.

With me - Windows 10, Firefox, no extensions that I know of - when the site first is first loading I am now frequently getting the Firefox message that is something like "This page is slowing Firefox down. Stop or wait for it to load?".
I got that message last night, I use Safari but tried FF to see if it helped. It didn’t solve the problem I described above.

Was/Were the image(s) from Facebook? I do see one entry in the system log (not an error log) that notes the issue below. This seems more like an issue receiving data from a facebook photo.
https://graph.facebook.com/122778317770191/photos
Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes receivedNo they were from my desktop on the “ICT players news”. It’s just that I haven’t had much problem with ordinary posts but twice recently I’ve used photos from Elgin games and also the Olde Inverness stuff.
The pattern’s always the same: insert the pics and the hyperlink/wee hand thingy for posting goes away. Refresh the page and it restores your content but same problem. Can’t erase the content, just try several times till it works.

If BBC are right, Draper was part of a back 3 and Nicolson was in an advanced role on the left side.
How did Nicolson do? I saw great potential in him when he got game time with us.
Aye Lewis was wearing 3 but appeared to be playing as a wing back as you say. He's decent as I saw at the semi at Tynecastle, could be ready for some game time, maybe he'll get recalled in January...I see you've got the right spelling, I got the wrong one off the Elgin website.

The problem of pages freezing has recurred and wondering if posting images has anything to do with it. Have just got a post done but it took several attempts.

Having watched the game Queens were the better side and deserved the win but I think the BBC stats are not a true reflection of the game.
With the squad that we had today I would rather have started with Boyd over Doran but don't think it would have altered the result.
For once I actually believe the BBC's version of events. We saw plenty of the second half standing behind the goals because we never got out our own half. Queens looked really good, I thought their movement off the ball was tremendous, but when we got the ball we just gave it back to them. It could have been a lot more. We were absolutely garbage. Disgraceful. Even a depleted side should show a bit of fight.

Actually saw him at the weekend. Stayed at home and watched Bonnyrigg v Elgin. He had a great first half, won 2 pens, led the line well and looked very pacy and nimble. That's against one of the worst defences in Lge 2 though.
