That and our average of 0.15 points per game has almost improved 10 fold to approx 1.5.
Continuing at that rate we should get around 22 points from our remaining 15 games which should be more than enough to avoid relegation. But we all hope for continued improvements throughout
I was listening to the pod there in the car and the guys were predicting how many points we would get - I think they did it on a game by game basis and they were mostly getting 37-39 which in recent seasons hasn’t always guaranteed 8th place.
How I looked at it was, Dunc has (I think) 20 points from 16 games which is 1.25 ppg (you’re quoting nearly 1.5 but I can’t see why, and over 15 games 1.5-1.25 = 0.25 ppg is significant ).
On that form we would expect another 18.75, say 19 points which makes 40. But we can only hope that the new signings can improve that as you say.btw I sent you a friendly wee dm a couple of weeks back just in case you don’t see these alerts on your phone, as you haven’t read it

I don’t think he would come back if he was offered a chance as he got so much personal abuse from our own fans.
He’s 29 and still getting a game in the prem for central belt clubs as a journeyman. Might get him back when he’s 33

Made a start on it today, sitting in the car waiting on Mrs Mantis in the bucketing rain.

Keith has gone on loan to Elgin City for the remainder of season 2023/2024 to get some much needed game time.
Bonnyrigg have a rearranged fixture against them on 6 Feb so I’ll pop along. Always good to see how much Ross Draper’s waistline has expanded too. Any of the Edinburgh contingent free that night, it’s not really the Wild West and you can get a direct bus from the city centre right to the door.

4-0 FT. Biggest Scottish Cup margin of victory this afternoon, which surely makes us favourites for the tournament.

Hope the result doesn't shatter their confidence.
I hope they’ve learned from the experience. All the women will be used to seeing the weekly coverage on BBC and would be aware of the standard of the Prem clubs, especially the big 3. I thought maybe 12-0 when I saw the draw but scores like this happen in the prem as well.

Going by what comes over the tannoy at home games.
Next game, I'll count those in attendance. Will likely be more interesting than the football match.
It’s a bit of a con, but it seems that we count tickets sold rather than bodies turning up, and we’re not the only club doing it. So all season tickets are counted. I’ve got one but it hardly gets used.

Aye if it wasn't for that horrendous start to the campaign we'd be right in that top 4 or thereabouts
I doubt that as we haven't got the quality in the squad that Partick and Raith and United have got, although we're probably on a par with the rest. Given that Dodds got only 1 point in 6 games and Dunc has got 20 in 14, you would have to have won all 6 to be in the top 4 right now.

I'm going to take some credit for this result. It was risky but it worked - I went for the draw in the NAPS competition so I knew we'd either win or lose. It was a 50/50 risk.
I'll take half the credit as I did likewise
Kudos to @Jodie Carnie for having the belief...

Toxic presence at every club he’s worked at. Should have been sacked for the concert fiasco alone.

Keeping him fit for an impending January sale? We’ve been looking at a number of defensive players and perhaps indicates cashing in.
I wondered if he had a knock when he was subbed on Tuesday.

I don’t watch TV Robert
How have you heard of them then? Are they on MFR a lot?
I wasn't actually impressed when I first heard them, thought they were a bit amateurish and in truth two of them were really wedding/ceilidh band standard, but I think Boydie has brought everything to a new level.
I've still not managed to see them but I've got the Barrowlands concert recorded and there's a documentary from 2020 called "That's the Way We Do It". I suppose it's the Lewis connections as a lot of people won't get the in-jokes or the wee snippets of Gaelic in the lyrics, although they went down a storm at Glastonbury and other English gigs where nobody had a clue so just made up their own words -

Why on the companies house site is the name Inverness Thistle Fc and Caledonian Fc named rather than Inverness Caledonian Thistle Fc which it surely should be?
It’s just an observation but it’s very odd.

Could be wrong, but I think the company was set up before the football club existed. Season's greetings old chum

Discovery of the year for me was Beluga Lagoon. Only discovered them by chance as the soundtrack on the BBC series Roaming in the Wild. Failed to get tickets for Aviemore in February (sold out in 3 minutes). Missed out on Barrowlands in May but a kind soul on twitter has sold me one.

We were at the Hoolie after the QP game and stayed over. Not a big Runrig fan but the tribute was great. Been into Wolfstone from way back, still enjoyable although not the same and very heavy now with 8 on stage.
Recorded the two episodes but anybody who missed them just needs to keep an eye on BBC Alba. Also two Peat and Diesel programmes on this week.
