Spot on, I will be catching up with weeman on the walks  but I don't think he has been down there.

I know your one although I have not been there but not the mannie in the painting.  See if anyone else gets it.

That was taken through the window, the place is shut now. If nobody gets it I’ve got others for clues.

  2. Today after many attempts to post on Olde Inverness with Mac and iPad, I tried with the phone and it worked first time, so at least it's a workaround. The issue is usually when the post includes a photo, but also once I am on a page, scroll to the bottom and try to scroll up again, and it freezes.
However as you say Scotty, not much you can do. So I'll now have to try and clear the editor on the Mac, which will be frozen for umpteen tries till it eventually works.

Our own stats show end of May, but that was purely down to me following previous seasons input on here. When players sign the usual spiel from the club is until end of season 22/23 or whatever. I presume as the season is extended then something will be in place to cover this at ICTFC. When doing the players stats on here we have boxes to tick and add dates etc, so I usually put them out until end of May. I'll push that out until mid June in future.

Anyway, it's always been one of the sources of no/misinformation from the club.

***Anyone want to volunteer to get the Bio's up to date. I'm talking years of Bio's which had been ignored by previous incumbents?

Drop me a pm if you would like to help.

When I was helping out at a certain EOSL/LL club, the contracts always ran out on July 1. This seemed to be the default date on the SFA Intranet which is where clubs can look up players to see if they are available. As long as they were contracted to a club, other clubs couldn’t access their details.

Somehow my feed was from 'viaplay'. No cutting out, no lag, and no problems. very enjoyable watch with my (early) morning coffee. Saved the drams for later when book ending my day with a Toronto FC win against NYC FC.

Viaplay weren’t offering it here as a one-off, it had to be a subscription which I think was offered at about £50. Anyway I’m not sure I could have recorded it for later 😜

Great to be there anyway, had forgotten what a privilege it is to get a day out with your team at Hampden, you take it for granted when you’re young.
The final will be my 50th visit 🍻

  5. I'd be a bit happier if I thought he could retain most of the squad. If by some miracle he got Deas and Allardice to sign that would probably swing it for me. I imagine the rest of the spine e.g. Devine will not be getting better offers from other clubs and Welsh has another year. Tactically I don't think Dodds is any worse than many other managers in our league and certainly no worse than McGlynn as we saw on Saturday.

That’s the one that I thought was 1-0. I remember Pressley scoring and being a right ***** on the radio as I queued to get out of the car park…

There were 4 guys in front of us in the North Stand, sitting quietly but obviously Celtic supporters, who got up to leave with a few minutes left. We were poking fun at them and shouting "see you next week!"

I was up to the wee small hours watching all the highlights and interviews multiple times, amazing.  When you look back on it, we are in our second Scottish Cup Final in our short history, while some clubs with histories three times as long as ours have never been to one, it is some achievement.

Watched it back via the bbc recording and the coverage was just as bad as we had heard with all the blackouts. Also my recording finished at 2pm with a few minutes to go so no interviews etc.

I took the reunion picture below of my dad John Stewart (Vice President in season 82/83) with Peter Corbett and Ray Mackintosh.

He looks in good health. Is he still getting to the home games?

  9. A real gentleman.  Listened eagerly for his roundups on Radio Scotland as it was the only way you could find out how Caley had got on (pre-internet). He always had a witty summary for each game despite going on air about half an hour after the full time whistle. Had a few good chats over the phone when I was after back issues of ‘Highland Football & Sport’ which he inevitably sent FOC.

Great work by Welsh to keep the ball and set up the winner. Who won the ball near the half way line that started the move for the equaliser: hard to see on a mobile: Allardice?

Great character shown to turn that round after conceding to that great free kick. Shame they didn’t show the foul (or as IHE said the very soft foul).

They must be too embarrassed to show it.

Yeah it was Allardice. Both Welsh and Allardice dominated by the midfield for large parts of the game but you could see the former tiring quite badly as the game wore on. Bizarre that Dodds didn't seem to want to make any changes given this pretty obvious issue.

It was Carson - Shaw - Welsh - Mckay. You can see Allardice inside of Shaw.
