IHE I thought that Niculae looked allright with his fitness to the end, however I though that it was Bayne that struggled. It seemed that at the 60 minute mark he just lost interest and couldn't be bothered. As someone sitting behind me said ' We have got the wrong Bayne back.' This was a different Bayne, one who wasn't busting his gut for our team. The workhorse has gone.

They are resurficing the M8 which is causing massive tail backs. It was due to finish this morning, but as you can tell they didn't.
  3. Aye cos lets put an unproven player at RB and a CB at RB cos that is going to shore up our defence.
  4. Aye let's drop our only right back for a center back. [modbreak=Edit by CaleyD]Comment Removed - Personal abuse of fellow posters is not tolerated on these forums[/modbreak]

Hastings has been poor so far this season.

    Caff was our best defender.

To whoever said that we were out played by St Mirren is wrong. St Mirren had 4 chances. They scored from two. The first goal came from a mistake from Hastings and Rosscoe, the second came from us not being able to defend a long ball down the middle. Our goal came from nowhere. We need to sort out our defence, it was a shambles. Why wasn't Watt playing or on the bench? What is Charlie doing? Does he have a clue? Black off? Mistake. Bayne was knackered after 60 minutes and played 90. He wasn't in it at all. I'm sorry to say but I think this is going to be the season that Charlie will be found out. Niculae is going to be a class act, we will be lucky to hold him past this season. We have no organistation and I don't think that Charlie is going to be able to sort it out. There were so many faults today, and if we cannot beat this St Mirren team (who weren't up to much) then we are getting relegated. I'm sure that IHE will elaborate on my points. Safe to say that I am disappointed that we lost today against a sub standard St Mirren side. However, thank **** that we aren't Flakirk.

I didn't think they wanted away fans in there, otherwise that is where I would have been. As it was, I was in Jack Daniels, outnumbered by many Well fans and 3 Celtic fans watching the Celtic match. Was a good atmosphere, though I felt a bit out of place really. ?14 for a student ticket isn't too bad either, though it won't beat the ?2 I pay at Hampden on Saturday.
  9. soup erb Or get a bus from Buchanan Street Bus Station, could get there and back for a few quid.

Must be you Scotty because I had no problem with watching the Well highlights.
  11. Jeez, some of the talk is as if we are about to go bust and are relegated for sure. Two games, one against a Rangers side that look good, and the second was a good performance and we got unlucky. Come back in 6 months when we are bottom by miles and complain. But I guess if Charlie get's fired you will come back with a 'I told you so'

I saw Granty fiddling with the armband for some time before he discarded it. I think it was causing him some problems, either ripped or kept on slipping down / falling off.
  13. Firstly, I had many of the same thoughts as you. Possibly just not used to playing in this league and with these players, and once he grabs a firm holding on how ICT play, then he will be a great acquisition. My mate who came with me today remarked that he did look a bit fat, I must say I agreed with him. He looked good overall for a first showing in my opinion, took about 15 minutes to get into the game, and his first touch was a little suspect at times. There were some good touches however, but he tired towards the end. Once he loses a bit of weight he is going to become a star for us I reckon. His arrogance will go. Or at least, I hope it goes.

Lovejoy has left to do stuff with his own company, the first being David Beckhams Soccer USA (which is brilliant by the way, C5 7:15 Wednesdays)

Having just seen the penalty again, still not 100% convinced, but it looks like it. Player went down in stages however.

Duncan was attempting to talk his way into the book (which he eventually did), and was absolutly livid at the referee. Munro was pulling him away, cue a wee push from Duncan and a wee argument between the two. Munro was pulling Duncan away from the referee.

If getting up and down the wing is being over on the left hand side of defence when Motherwell are attacking down the right (where he should be) then yeah he did a good job. But by far not the best player on the park. He was making some good runs, some good crosses but we were struggling at the back when he couldn't get back.

Well, just got back from the match and my thoughts are. We were done by the ref. Never a penalty in a million years. He had a shocking match but he can't be blamed for everything. How roscoe was named MOM by BBC Scotland I'll never know. He was all over the place, out of position constantly and although he had a better game, there were times we were caught by Motherwell because he was out of position. We were very lucky to go into half time with a 0-0 scoreline, Motherwell missed a sitter. Good goal from Rosscoe, though we couldn't really see it from our position (Far left of the main stand), good equalizer from them, and the least said about the pen the better. Marius took a while to get into the game, and he had a few bad touches. Just missing some match fitness, as soon as he gets that he should be a good addition, a bit lazy. Wyness had a good game, but started to tire. But our main problem? Our defence was all over the place, and it is clear that we miss Dods and his organistation. Our defenders can do the job, but without someone to actually organise the defence, we are going to lose goals. The amount to time Well got in behind was ridiculous. We need that defender badly. Sickening to lose that late goal, but that's football. We were 100x better this week then last week.

I thought this might be worthwhile putting it in here. New season, what would be the interest on trying to get on as fans of the week on weekend?

I think we need to fix the announcments, because I still can't hear anything that bloke says. We don't need a TV because we don't have a big enough stadium for it.
  22. I heard that Orange offered him a killer contract.

I think with the club putting on a bus from the city centre, Longman isn't that inaccessable, and I have certainly been to more stadiums that are harder to get to.
  24. I can imagine that Niculae will start from the bench.
  25. I should be there with +1
