Dunfermline Ticket Prices
Your complaining? You have something to play for, we don't and we are still expected to fork out £20 for it. Club needs to get their arse in gear - but that is a broken record anyway.

Relegation
Although we beat Livingston to send them down, other results meant that they would never have stayed up if they beat us anyway. I really don't want Dunfermline to go down, so hopefully we win, Motherwell win, then we beat St Mirren (or even a draw would do me) and Dunfermline win on the final day of the season to send the Paisley lot down. Just as they have announced their new stadium as well.

Pre Season Friendly v Inverurie Locos
No offense to any of the teams that we are playing pre-season, but surely they aren't good enough? Maybe in the past when we were 3rd division, even 2nd they would have done but now? We should be looking at getting games against the likes of Championship or League One teams, and even trying to set up a wee money spinner in the name of a Premiership team, much like what Dundee Utd, Hearts and Falkirk have done with their European sides this year.

Singing Section (merged)
So how many folk have we confirmed to have? I will definitely be making the trip up from Glasgow for this, and hopefully will be able to convince my brother and friends to come along from their usual main stand tickets to this section. Has there been any advertising in the town?

*Important Fixture Changes*

United Roll Call
Big negatory for me. Trying to watch the pennies as I have just took a week unpaid off work and have exams to be getting on with! Shame, because it is one of the few SPL stadiums I have to still visit.

Will see about coming up for it!

Ian Mccall
Clyde. Apparently the rumours are that the current Clyde manager is getting the Livi job, which would not suprise me if McCall was offered that in order to get them to the SPL. In all honesty, I would not mind seeing him up here IF Charlie was ever to leave. A full time job would at least get him off of the BBC commentary.

Alan Ball......
Was he not the MOM of the final?

Singing Section (merged)
Unfortunatly I cannot make the Dunfermline game due to other more important commitments...hold on. Is it this Saturday the Dunfermline match or the 12th?
-
Dargs could stay..
And got a move to Hearts which is the much bigger club!
-
The SPLIT
True true, but you know what some people are like! I would prefer that we won all our games, but would also like to see us put Mirren down! And it is about 70K per place.
-
The SPLIT
I know I said that we should be pushing for 5 wins, but tactically, if St Mirren lose tonight, should we maybe lose against Dunfermline when we play them? So we can send Mirren down on the last day?
-
ICT V Rangers (RESERVES)
I got the email as well.
-
New faces
I prefer the paranoid explanation.
-
Ticket Info V Falkirk (A) 5/5
NINETEEN POUND!!!! Attendance of 4 sheeps and a dog I fear.
-
The SPLIT
I'm with CaleyD - 5 wins is what we can get.
-
SITUATION VACANT - Match Reporter
I would be interested in writing match reports for the few games that I get along to - however I don't get to enough to warrant the 'full-time' position.
-
Dods v Caff
With Dods suspended, the next game will be an ideal chance to see the partnership, however if they don't perform then Dods must come back in until we are definatly safe from relegation and only then should we be experimenting.

Silence is golden??
Scotty, in my view the point isn't about whether people are anti-cc or not, but the fact that this is a not so sly dig at some of our other members. A thread like this re-inforces a clique that the site has developed in recent times. I missed the mass migration away from here, so I can't comment, but I have had my level of activity reduced here because of the reactions of some people when others post criticism of Charlie Christie and the club - it has seemed at times (to me anyway) that criticism of CC = lack of support for the club, and the numerous comments of 'what do you know, you aren't the manager' and 'why didn't Grassa come looking to you when we needed a new manager' isn't helping things at all. In my experience, there is a big difference between actively moderating a site and censoring what people say - and a little bit of moderation, out with moving topics that are in the wrong place, is needed desperately here. A thread like this should never have been allowed to develop in my opinion, and if it had appeared on a forum on which I was moderating, a discreet word in the ear of the poster, and a removal to the dungeon would have been the choice I would have made. Debate and discussion is good, but when it comes down to sly digs, 'fishing trips' or what ever rubbish you want to call it, then I would rather that I posted my opinions elsewhere - and by the looks of it, others are doing the same.

Silence is golden??
This thread should be moderated because it doesn't acheive anything. All it is is a dig at people who have the personal belief that CC isn't doing a good job and creates hate towards a section of our support. It is childish, and isn't what I would want to be promoted on this site.
-
Silence is golden??
I agree. It seems that criticism isn't allowed here.

Dods
Yes, but you miss the point. Look at your own comment for an example.
