Can't doubt his commitment after that :) I think Imrie could be so much more for us but he doesn't seem to be delivering for whatever reason. If we can get more out of him great. If not then I think he needs to be moved on, free up some space in the squad and maybe raise something of a transfer fee for a replacement.

I was going to say this. It wasn't until I came back here for Xmas that I realised just how much the lives of folk in and around Inverness revolves around Tesco.

In a way I sort of agree with skifreak regarding his point about people getting to shops, cinemas etc in the same weather that causes the police to recommend calling off football games. The flip side of this of course is that you are unlikely to get such a high number of people / vehicles concentrated in a similar area like you do at a football match.

This does bring up the matter of why bother making the pitch playable and spending money turning on USH if the police can call off the game all by themselves? I am not just focusing on ICT here but a few of the SPL games the other weekend had playable pitches but it was the police who called the game off due to concerns about road conditions.

Again, this is the 3rd time he has "agreed to sign for you". You can see why we are sceptical. For what it's worth he is a good defender. Better than any of the dross you currently have in your back line.

I wouldn't take McMenamince if you paid me. Harkins and Griffiths are the two best players in the First Division by some distance. They would walk into any starting line up in this league and probably every SPL starting XI as well. Something I have said since July / August when Dundee signed them. I recall a few posters on here not thinking much of them and they have been proved spectacularly wrong.

McMenamin is rubbish and Harkins is a midfielder.

The flip side of that though is that they have only won 2 games out of their last 11 which, given the money they have spent, is not going to go down well by those higher up at Eastlands.

This was rumoured late last night on some Yahoo Sports site. I didn't think much of it as it's hardly a reliable but the story was he would go regardless. Will be looking forward to this press conference to see what comes of it.

There's a fixation that Chelsea will lose points when Drogba etc. are away but people aren't checking the fixture list to see the guff they will be playing around that time. Far too much is made of this.

How rubbish are Liverpool? Utterly embarrassing form for them, something like 4 wins in 13 games. Man United still don't look great and Arsenal are too inconsistent. Chelsea seem to be the best of the lot but even they have faltered somewhat recently. Wish they would play Zirkhov (spelling) more often. Cracking player.

The Cup Final was ample evidence that even though Dundee can play absolute pich they can turn it up a gear and beat us. The've gone to Partick and County in recent weeks and come away with 6 points. We came away with nothing. In Harkins and Griffiths they've the two best players in the league and they've money to spend in January if they want to strengthen further. Dundee WILL win this league.
