    The internet - serious business.
  2. Celtic are still in Europe?
  3. It was too cold to play football. This is clearly the only reason why we lost on Saturday.

This point has been raised before and I'm sorry but it is one of the stupidest points ever brought up on this website. What were the club meant to do after relegation? Downplay our chances and run an advertising campaign saying "Pay ?200 and come and watch us struggle to a mid table finish! Whoo!" Of course they are going to big up the chances of promotion to try and boost season ticket sales which results in more income and more money to spend on the players. There are plenty of things you can cite blame for this season (and seasons before) but saying the club mislead fans into buying a season ticket is daft in the extreme.
  5. Sanchez has played well in a number of games this season but he does drift in and out of them - a bit like Juanjo in the SPL. That's just the kind of player he is. For someone who talks about fans getting behind the team you are awfully negative about our own players. I hope you encourage them on a Saturday instead of slagging them off like you do on here.
  6. Black wanted a new contract as early as September / October 2008. It was him that was trying to instigate contract talks with the club! As with a lot of first teamers, when it came to December / January and the team was rooted at the foot of the table they, quite rightly, chose to put off any contract talk until they knew where ICT would likely be playing the following season. We had a chance to tie Black up long before he started getting offers from other clubs and for some reason it was passed up on.
  7. Absolute puff. He was solid against Dundee at Dens park when we should've thumped them in their own back yard.
  8. That's not the section I am referring to whatsoever.
  9. I'd be annoyed but that isn't the point I am making. The fans had numerous chances to get a dedicated singing section on the go and never took it. I contacted the club and they set aside an area for us to use and no one took it up. My point about it being hard to organise is geared towards higlighting that a lot of fans are all talk about doing stuff but tend not to bother with actually carrying out their actions when push comes to shove.
  10. You'd be surprised.
  11. Behave it was a clear foul. Spread out across the stadium in both the North and Main Stands. It's easier for vocal fans to congregate in the same area at Away games and even easier on terracing.
  12. Yes. What chances did we have to establish a 4 goal lead?
  13. I really hope this post is laden with sarcasm but in case it isn't I have to ask what chances were these? County didn't have many either to be fair but saying 4 - 0 would be a fair reflection is ludicrous if you seriously mean it.
  14. The same team that started today had scored 9 goals in two games. If Butcher had changed anything he would've been lambasted for it. Bottom line is we just weren't good enough. County scored two quick fire goals and our defence was static at both and we never recovered. County got men behind the ball, retained possession well and we found it hard to break them down. We got a goal back to make it 2 - 1, which was probably a fair reflection on the game, but aside from one other other chance in the second half I can't think of any other time we really tested their back line. We just weren't as up for it or as clinical as they were today. A sad repetition of the 3 - 1 game in Inverness.

Ross County are better than us. Deal with it.
  16. I'm going to try it on with Irish_Lass.
  17. I was talking about myself and the rest of the ICT fans on the terracing you cheeky sods! :( SESH ARMY! :)
  18. Neale Cooper in a barn oo ar oo ar! Neale Cooper in a barn oo ar oo ar! Neale Coooper in a barn, Shagging sheep on his farm, Oo ar oo ar oooo ar!
  19. Tophat! This isn't just restricted to the young ones either. Any old folk fancy making a fool of themselves ( ) and making some noise head to behind the goals. Shame Bullock isn't in goals for County anymore - he provided top quality entertainment. Always had a laugh with him at Derbys. EDIT: Top 6 - I'm heading through with Jay_7. Think about 11ish or thereabouts.

  21. Hello, Given that we'll have the luxury of terracing on Saturday which gives a lot more freedom of movement I suggest that all those wishing to create some sort of "Singing Section" head for the area just behind the goals. None of this Section G / Section E / Main Stand "rivalry" mince - lets all get together get right behing the guys from the off. Up for it? Bring it on!
  22. I simply think we should concentrate on making more positive noise than getting on the players backs after the first mistake. There is someone in Section E where I sit who gives the players pelters for the littlest of things. One other guy, who I'm sure everyone would recognise if they saw him :P , bawls at them like they have been beefing his missus behind his back and he has just found out about it. Last season we were 2 - 0 up on Kilmarnock (IIRC) and they crossed the half way line with the ball "Here it comes! Oh here it comes!" he started shouting which led on to a load of "For f'ck sake Caley get a grip!" at which point Killie had moved the ball into the very threatening right hand channel some 30 yards from goal. By the end of the game someone behind actually shouted at him to shut up. And I think that is a bit of a problem. As fans of ICT we have been very fortunate to see our team either in the top league of Scottish football or challenging at the top end of whatever league we might be in. We have rarely gone through a sustained period of losing games and hanging around the foot of the table. Last season was our first taste of that and it ended, unfortunately, in relegation. After some early struggles in the First division we hear of fans walking out on the team, season tickets being thrown on the pitch etc. which is just daft and is akin to some puff the Old Filth fans come out with. We've shown in the past we can make a good atmosphere at Home so what's stopping us now? We need to cut out the crap, stop niggling at the players and get behind them. Even if it's not a full blown chant just something positive. Saturday showed that it can be done (despite Morton being guff) and the team can lift the fans and vice versa. We need to get back to that and not get stuck on booing and moaning at the players and management.
  23. I'm a true fan. I buy at least one sausage roll at each home game :P
  24. Kev - I think Alex might be somewhere in the North Sea so it might prove hard for him to join in :P
  25. I'm not pinning the booing on "Section G". I never have done. However, by their own admissions they have booed players warming up (as an example). "Section G" are the most vocal part of our support, both positive and negative. Barrowman has been booed for some bizarre reason when warming up (it's been discussed on here), Eagle gets booed when his name is announced over the tannoy and you only have to look at the reaction when Djebi Zadi was subbed subbed during the County defeat to see that a lot of our crowd prefer to moan and groan as opposed to getting behind the team. Seems to be easier for them to do that than be positive. I have not once linked the mass walk outs to "Section G" so I don't know what your point is with regards to that and, as clearly stated in previous posts, I am not knocking the whole section as I know several folk in there and they are all good guys. I just think the booing, all over the stadium needs to be cut and try and get behind the team instead of shouting tripe after one slack pass leads to a throw in for the opposition on the half way line.
