"The Christie Legacy" is out now! https://thewynessshuffle.podbean.com/e/the-christie-legacy/ Warning - this is a looooong podcast. Time stamps included if you want to park it and pick it up again at a later date

    Well done Jack!

Some of the guys recorded the pod yesterday so it should be ready to go pretty soon. In the meantime cast your vote in the final of The Wyness Shuffle Goal of the Season between Carl Tremarco and, perhaps surprisingly, Nikolay Todorov...
  4. In a sample taken in this very boardroom, a satellite broadcaster found 4 Old Firm games per season! That's not enough! We demand MORE Old Firm games! More Old Firm games!
  5. Lewis Spence seemed like a tidy player last season for County. I'd like to see him sign. McManus has bagged loads of goals for Falkirk this season and seems well liked there. I suspect he will end up signing for them though I wouldn't mind us getting him.

Don't worry I certainly never took it that way and it's good to get an idea of how long folk are likely to listen to a podcast without maybe wanting to pause it and pick it up again at another time. I'm sure we could easily ramble on about ICT for two hours and stick that out but if folk like pods around an hour long that would be pointless. As I say I think around an hour is a good target. Anything much longer than that and I think people would tune out a little.

Not a new pod but we are running some polls to help decide our choice for ICT Goal of the Season! Get your vote in on Twitter! You can see all the goals in the threads on Twitter.

Good to know the timestamps were helpful. If I get a chance I will do some more for the recent pods at least. Cheers!

What kind of length do you think we should aim for? In the past we've tried to aim for around an hour but for the last one we weren't sure it would work too well split up in two parts so I put some timestamps in to let people jump to parts they want to hear. It's a track by therealstevekellky who gave us permission to use it which was very nice of him. You can see / listen to it on YouTube:
  10. Dunfermline are likely just the first of many clubs to dump their out of contract players.

It went a bit like this TBH...
  12. Tremarco hasn't missed much of the 19/20 season at all. One game in the league due to injury and one when he was just a sub. The more likely reason (allegedly) is cost of keeping him on. Whether that is true or not is another matter...

    New pod out now!
  14. New pod is out now which includes a chat with the Chairman, Ross Morrison, not one to be missed!
  15. Our new pod will include an exclusive chat with Ross Morrison so you can hear his thoughts on this saga tomorrow!
  16. A short, terse rebuttal of the comments in the Record piece would have sufficed instead of what amounts to a multi paragraph rant.
  17. There's some parts of our statement I agree with such as the short notice to consider such an important decision, awarding titles to sides in first place in their respective divisions as well as not relegating sides based on an incomplete season however some other points in the statement and our alleged counter proposal are compatible with one another. Seeking prize money for finishing 2nd but also null and voiding the season wasn't likely to go down well with other sides. Null and voiding the season would only mean that monies are split equally ten ways. The only thing that comes to mind is that we were somehow banking on reconstruction taking place and somehow getting promoted to the Premiership where we would offset this £175,000 loss but you can't really promote us whilst also null and voiding the season. It seems our position is all over the place and highly contradictory with what is actually feasible.
  18. I thought the person they were referring to was John Nelms at Dundee. Didn't even know the name of the Dunfermline Chairman before today.
  19. Dunfermline calling us out. This is getting messy. https://bit.ly/3dtzXLI
  20. Indeed. Maybe one of the local journalists in the Highland area can pull him up on these comments from 2012 when he seemed quite happy to expand the top division. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/ross-county-chief-roy-macgregor-1412188 Obviously we shouldn't just vote for any form of reconstruction.

We've just published the Polworth pod. Great chat with Liam yesterday and hopefully you all enjoy it as much as we did recording it.
  22. Anyone who believed that the piss weak commitment to "consult on the possibility of reconstruction of the league in the future" would actually lead to anything of note should have a word with themselves. It meant f'ck all a few weeks back and nothing was ever going to change. A complete and utter waste of time.

Just wrapped the Polworth one. He was brilliant to chat with and I think people will think twice about some of the stuff that has been said about him in the past. And yes we asked him about that photo!

We've got Liam Polworth on next Fire us some questions here or on Twitter!
  25. @hislopsoffsideagain tweeted this earlier and it's as accurate as anything we've got to go on: ICT apparently have the following out of contract: Jack Brown Aaron Doran Daniel Hoban Matheus Machado Cammy Mackay Brad Mckay Shaun Rooney Charlie Trafford Carl Tremarco Tom Walsh Jordan White We know that Rooney is off to Saint Johnstone, White has signed a PCA with someone (Motherwell) and Tremarco is not getting a new contract (rumours persist that he wasn't offered one as well as him allegedly turning down an offer). Of those remaining I hope we keep Walsh and Doran but I fear neither will be with us next season.
