  1. There are now 11 fixtures remaining before the split - one against all the 11 other teams (6 Home - 5 Away). You would have to say that apart from the Celtic game then 3 points from each of those other 5 home games (Hibs, Motherwell, Kilmarnock, St.Mirren and Hamilton) should not normally be beyond us. Biggest problem is that the next three games (Hearts (A), Celtic (H) and Utd (A)) are quite a challenge with the current state of affairs that may knock the last remaining wind out of our sails before we have our big home games. No points from these 3 fixtures would be disastrous but if the club (players and management) really need a challenge then this is it - their backs are now firmly against the wall. Here's hoping that the Dundee Utd game is when the romance finally returns after good results (and performances) against Hearts and Celtic and doesn't turn out to be a St. Valentine's Day Massacre but even my half full pint glass is starting to look a tad empty now.... 2. Herr Brewster in his post match interview also thought we were unlucky....
  3. Bob - I hope the major storm front meant you couldn't get your bet on and you're now sitting with a glass of porter drinking to your good fortune - but something makes me think that a little storm wasn't going to prevent you getting to the bookies....
  4. I don't think he will be sacked and I definitely don't think he will walk
  5. Personally I find it totally offensive that a Union Flag is flown anywhere in Scotland - not the greatest lover of the said flag or more how it has been used by certain elments but it is the British Flag and can't say I have ever felt offended when I have seen it flying in Scotland. Do really agree though that the issue is not the colours on the flag but the way the enforcers of order within the ground are consistent with their actions....as with others I do look forward to the actions of the stewards when Celtic come to town on the 1st February as I am sure that at least one person within the ground will probbaly now complain that they believe the flying of the tri-colour is offensive. May be very interesting....
  6. Howdens would probably want me kicked out of the ground if I were to walk in with this flag but what the hell. Doesn't make me an idiot. Alex - looks like a County Down GAA flag
  7. Morton - Away Win @ 3.40 - ta muchly
  8. CD - if you take the red and black version and replace the red with blue how would it look? With either black or blue shorts. I personaly prefer the strip to have two coulours red and black, red and blue or blue or black as I think the sleeve piping adds to the design. Blue and Black may be a colour set that would set us out from the other SPL (or SFL) teams.
  9. The latest odds courtesy of Corals - we are currently 13/8 favourites along with Hamilton to get relegated from the SPL - the bookies seem to think it is only a two horse race now :thumb04: As for the Scottish Cup we are 40/1 - may be a decent each way bet Relegation from SPL Hamilton 13/8 Inverness CT 13/8 Falkirk 4/1 St Mirren 8/1 Kilmarnock 20/1 Motherwell 20/1 Scottish Cup Celtic 11/8 Rangers 13/8 Hearts 10/1 Aberdeen 11/1 Dundee Utd 12/1 Motherwell 18/1 Kilmarnock 33/1 Falkirk 40/1 Inverness CT 40/1 St Mirren 50/1 Hamilton 66/1 Dunfermline 100/1 Airdrie 250/1
  10. The SPL anti-sectarianism campaign seems to be working....
  11. This middle aged gentleman has decided to support his local team and doesn't feel the need to have to wear a replic top....
  12. It's the Highland Air....
  13. 30 now and on a one-year contract at St.Johnstone - last chance of a shot at the big time with this current team - ex-County mind
  14. Just been to a wedding where The Smiths "There is a light that never goes out" was sung at the church so after not having listened to any Smiths for about 15 years have got old Mo and the boys out for a listen this morning....
