  1. the board are running scared of warnock plain and simple.there is no other reason why they would ignore a guy of his standing. they are frightened to work with him when in fact he would have been the best thing that could happen to the club at this time. sure he's fiery and a bit of a header but that can be a good thing when its channelled for you and in the interest of the club
  2. its not just the fact its an easy appointment its the way an unbelievable appointment in warnock has been ignored in spite of serious interest from him and how the fans have been treated like fools
  3. just heard it on their news. it wasn't speculation the way they were talking im afraid
  4. this time its not just brewsters head on the chopping block if it doesn't work out due to the way its been handled.the public meeting was a total waste of time thats for sure
  5. just now on moray firth. says he'll be there from monday. will of course get behind him but raging at bennett etc for not speaking to warnock etc :008:
  6. he makes brewster look a cracking choice :003:
  7. :015:
  8. kingsmills is the marriot
  9. dont see how they can offer him the job with at least two guys still to talk to
  10. according to the herald we made an approach to sound out neil lennon for the job. he was flattered but wishes to remain playing with forest and doesnt want such a quick fire return to scotland..thank feck for that!
  11. think most people will get behind the new boss whoever he is. what were seeing is the most important manager selection in our history and everyone is pretty wound up about it and want the board to make a good choice

the bottom line is warnock is in a different league in terms of calibre to any other candidate , coyle brew or whoever and a lot of people will be extremely pissed if we dont talk to him and try to get him
  13. and he was also spotted in perth having a meeting with bennett!

coyle a big risk that may or may not work. how many managers plucked from first division have succeeded in spl
  15. i have over the past few days managed to forgive the guy for leaving. calling him judas is more than a tad unfair.nobody in their right mind would not have jumped ship with the salary offered and the fact it was his home club. only met him once but he comes across as a decent guy in my mind. However, i have a sick feeling in my stomach at the thought of him returning and something just stinks about it. i try to look at the positives, like he must really want to prove himself as a boss, great player etc etc but i think his best form as a player is behind him, he could be one injury away from the end, and as a boss alone its a huge risk, at least as much as coyle. we need experience, we need warnock
  16. nothing wrong with your ambition but you better get your cheque book out if caley are gonna be where you want in two years
  17. what sort of compensation would we have to pay him if we sacked him on sat after a mass protest after one day in the job :017: whats the record for shortest period managing before the boot why am i even thinking this anyway, this thread really is insane :017: :017: :017:
  18. willie miller sounded very cagey tonight about brew leaving. reckon he thinks its a cert
  19. thats a bit harsh.bennett has done a **** of a lot. :018:
  20. instead of why the rush, try what about rush!! whats ian rush doing anyway :023:
  21. yes from what we heard tonight this forum is well read by many at the club including cc and grassa. poor buggers
  22. i dont think its a done deal as far as the board is concerned, but i do think it is in bennetts head.i think savage is more likely to favour an audacious signing like warnock if his demands are'nt too big. basically have'nt got a clue what they'll do for sure but whatever happens stuff a boycott, were gonna win on sat, that much is certain
  23. i agree but it doesnt make it the right choice. whilst i would manage to forgive brew for leaving in the first place i just hope the board make every effort to speak to warnock.i can see the positives of getting brewster back, and there is quite a few, something just doesn't feel right about it
  24. whilst i dont think any decision has been made i felt grassa was trying to pitch brewster to us saying how he left on good terms and went out of his way to get a good compensation agreement for ict before he agreed to go. maybe just being paranoid though! he did mention seeing the poll on this site in the highland news and acknowledged fans favoured warnock. just hope they at least make an effort to hear warnock in an interview and make every effort to get him if feasible.
