  1. Live league table: stop all the games now
  2. nahh, you saw what happened to Hamilton when they tried that. if we could get a second or even a second and third, that would be the best form of defence
  3. 1-0 ... goal sounds dubious, courtesy of the linesman awarded to Granty
  4. quality not quantity ..... a good mantra for posting on the matchday thread !!!

because they are 4 points adrift ..... they need to hope someone else slips up.

the bottom line is that our fate is in our own hands. We do not need to rely on other results like Falkirk do so a big push is needed and the players have to be motivated, and determined from the first to final whistle in all of these games and we will be fine. TB will motivate them, of that I have no doubt !!!
  13. its no worse than QOS or Gretna being in Europe over the last couple of years !!!!
  14. At the risk of going of topic, WSC and 442 would have me believe that Toronto fans are pretty fanatical. Do they speak the truth? they do
  15. man - that is still on the go ! we had this on the site years ago
  16. If I ever get our pre-SPL stats up to date I will be able to give you the total figure, but since we entered the SPL he has had 42 yellows and 3 reds in all competitions. Yes.
  17. ok, we are suffering from topic drift here. want to discuss something else, start a new topic, otherwise get back on topic. This topic now has a yellow card. more drift and it gets a red and is closed.
  18. Ian Broadfoot's latest stats received a couple of days ago (and correct up to last week's game) confirm that Rossco has made an astounding 477 appearances for ICT and was an unused sub 17 times. The numbers are as I posted above. As someone mentioned Hastings, I thought I would add a few details of his numbers, which are also impressive, as well as the number of games played for all those who have reached over 200 appearances. Richard Hastings 364 appearances 298 league starts, 14 sub appearances, (312) - 3 goals 49 cup starts, 3 sub appearances (52) - 1 goal 32 unused sub in league, 1 unused sub in cup. Other players on totals above 200 (italics denote no longer playing for club) Barry Wilson (353) Roy McBain (324) Charlie Christie (314) Russell Duncan (289) Grant Munro (277) Dennis Wyness (243) Stuart Golabek (230) Mike Teasdale (221) Bobby Mann (214) Mark Brown (203)
  19. This is done by the supporters groups for most Toronto FC games and can be very impressive .......
  20. and therein lies the problem ... they dont use their own stats (ie. Ian's) they get those stats from a third party that premiumTV use !!! I will take Ian's stats over anyone else's (including my own) any day of the week !
  21. I echo the sentiments, but going by Ian Broadfoot's stats, Ross played his 477th game last week and will tally up a total of 482 if he plays in all 5 post-split fixtures. Assuming he is picked for all games, he will take part in his 400th league game if he plays V Motherwell 374 league starts, 23 sub appearances, (397) - 27 goals 73 cup starts, 7 sub appearances (80) - 4 goals 16 unused sub in league, 1 unused sub in cup.

You could certainly make a case for McDougall and Hastie given their long association with the club in one way or another
  23. yes he did, although mostly in reply to your goading. The posts have been removed (but not deleted - mods can still review them). Please direct any questions on the moderaton to the relevant moderator. further posts discussing the moderation of this thread will be deleted.
  24. Were going off topic with all this exam talk - start a thread if you want to talk about that otherwise, stay on topic !
  25. yup. I would rather we went into the last game not needing anything as our recent record against Falkirk at the TCS is diabolical.
