Does anyone actually know if it's the draining on the pitch that was causing problems? My understanding was that unusually high tides were backing up the drains so I'd have thought non-return valves, sumps and sump pumps would do the trick without any need to touch a blade of grass.

what is it with the Turkish managers these days playing football manager drunk but in real life. Why are they signing ANYONE from the uk these days? Whenever i used to played FM drunk in a foreign league i'd go yaaas paul ritchie, he'll do a job, then totally regret it the next day. I'm pretty sure these guys are doing the same. Kris Boyd supposedly away to turkey as well. No, he is a (fattened Christmas) turkey.
