  1. will there be an option to pay for the tickets over a couple of months like last year?

    On the official site it says you can pay over 9 months with no deposit instead of the 4 months last season.

    Where does it say that please?

  2. Player sponsership, why not reserve 1 player for sponsership by kids only, could work something like;

    Having 50-100 kids all pay ?10-?20 each in return have their picture in the club program with the player concerned along with all the names of those who have taken sponsorship, recieve 1 or 2 free matchday tickets through the season or maybe be entered into a raffle for every home game for a free ticket for themselves or family members, walk around the pitch at half time, or maybe all be entered into a raffle perhaps to be a mascot or special guest of the club/player. Another raffle prize could be to have the player concerned visit the winners school for assembly.

    Numbers and money may vary from above, and different ideals could be used around the same format, but it would be a way of generating interest from local kids and maybe other family members who may not usually come to games.

    I also think the club should use relegation as a positive not negative(OK sounds mad I know) but thinking along the siege mentality thing here, make this a new beginning for ICT lets get behind our club show the rest that we our passionate even in defeat and that we will rise again etc.

    Think this is a great idea. My middle son is always wanting to sponsor a player in the programme but expensive. Maybe running a separate page for kids sponsorship. Will these ideas be picked up by the club?

  3. Think we have our wires crossed. If kids want to attend the games obviously would be organised by school. As for vouchers I an a parent council member and school would be delighted to accept vouchers. My workmates give me theirs sometimes. 12th man if no teachers reply please give your vouchers to someone rather than wasting them. Tescos normally have a box in store for extra ones which they give to a local school. Good initial idea though.

  4. well yes but now out of a job and sometimes not that easy to find another club and may have to move down South. Do think he should have been offered to stay though.

  5. Not a teacher but my kids go to a fairly small school that finds it hard to get things like this due to size. I'm sure the kids would be delighted to come to the games but not every week as in Fort Augustus.I take my own to the games but not taking the whole school.

    Any vouchers going spare please pm me I will refund postage. thanks in advance from the kids at Kilchumein PS

  6. I know what he was offered and he turned it down, he told the club what he would like and that was a little bit more than what they had offered, we're talking 50-100 pound more a week. what he asked for was less than half of the average players wage at ICT. you have to remember that these players have to pay for digs ect just like everyone else, they have to live. plus football is a short career so you have to look for the best deal, everyone would do the same in his position.

    That's not quite what you said in your 1st post on here...

    this was a offer from brew before christmas im talking about. butcher offered him nothing and never indicated he would do either..

    releasing vigurs+wood could be premature,what happens if morais,kerr+foran all dont sign contracts,just becasue there being offered it doesnt mean they,ll sign,would of been better waiting seeing what they do 1st

    But not really very fair on the players concerned leaving them hanging on Might have been better to accept the contract offered before Christmas though considering the current economic climate.

  7. Sounds like Calderwood pushed out by what he said on stv just now. Others ie prob willie Miller felt the club could go not further under the present regime. considering the budget he probably worked under I think they must want miracles. Who would want this job?

  8. I've been on here all weekend. I seem to need to read/reply to people who feel the same way as I do. It is like a bereavement. Our club is certainly at a crossroads as relegation is a pretty major setback and one not experienced before. I like IHE worry about how the board are going to react. I have to say that I feel worse now than I did on saturday reality is starting to kick in. I think some sort of statement about the future is required and soon to restore a bit of fan confidence but I'm not holding my breath.
