  1. Yeah, I've thought that too. It's why I put Ryan Watson in my squad. Maybe Terry has Gavin filling in as deputy LB. Played RB for a spell against Clach.
  2. Well this would be my squad for 2012/13 Goalkeepers 1. Ryan Esson 2. Antonio Reguero 3. Scott Mathieson Defence 4. Josh Meekings 5. Gary Warren 6. Chris Hogg 7. Graeme Shinnie 8. David Raven 9. Simon King 10. Matthew Cooper 11. Ryan Watson Midfield 12. Nick Ross 13. Andrew Shinnie 14. Martin Laing 15. Aaron Doran 16. Owain-Tudur Jones 17. Gavin Morrison 18. Ritchie Foran 19. Ross Draper 20. Liam Polworth 21. Conor Pepper Strikers 22. Shane Sutherland 23. Billy McKay 24. Jason Oswell 25. Kevin Buchan 26. Ryan Christie This squad has got a lot of young players, but I would rather go with that than a bunch of loanees. Our under 20s have a lot of potential but they need to be given the chance to step up. With no Rangers now and Dundee as their replacements, this is the perfect opportunity for the young uns to show us what they can do.
  3. I suppose you tell everyone we beat Celtic "one - three" in the Scottish Cup in February 2000? You always put your own team first when relating scores. Good try at masking your ignorance of our youth squad though!
  4. Right-sided attacking midfielder. Went past his man a few times and put a good cross into the box. Was definitely impressed with him. Maybe needs another year at youth level though. On last night's showing I would take Ryan Christie and Matty Cooper into the first team squad for this season.
  5. Enjoyable game. Great to see so many of our young players playing really well. Ryan Christie is going to be a star as is Liam Polworth. OTJ strolled through the game helping the young lads throughout. Hard to say anything about the defence but they coped well with the little that Muir of Ord threw at them. Martin Laing, Matthew Murphy, Jay Cheyne and someone called "Fergie" (Calum Ferguson maybe?) came on in the second half. "Fergie" looks a great prospect too. Their keeper had a load of good saves to keep the score respectable . Could have been 15 or 16.
  6. OTJ with a low drive. ICT are on cloud 9!
  7. Team is Scott Mathieson, Andrew Skinner, Ryan Watson, Mathew Cooper, Stephen MacKenzie, OTJ, Liam Polworth, Conor Pepper, Kevin Buchan, Ryan Christie, Kyle Whyte. 8-0 btw. Cooper.
  8. Christie has a goal disallowed for offside. That could prove costly.
  9. Kevin Buchan gets number 7 from close range.
  10. 20 yarder from Conor Pepper. 0-6.
  11. 5-0. Ryan Christie again. County are getting a feckin drubbing here!
  12. Muir or Ord play in dark blue so I'm just imagining we're playing County. Highly amusing!
  13. 4-0. Liam Polworth, Matt Cooper and Ryan Christie.
  14. Conor Pepper is definitely playing. Who's going through to this one?
  15. Dougal is the one flapping his gloved hand up and down. Two seats to his left, shouting his head off, sits SMEE (such was his trauma, he hasn't actually attended a game at TCS since).
  16. There's another iconic image at 1:30ish. A group of moaning old men in the main stand shouting abuse at a side on the verge of winning promotion and the title. They're quite funny though, and they're all wearing nice bunnets. Yep, that group of mainstanders were hilarious! To be fair to them I think they were moaning about a refereeing decision rather than the team. Can't be too harsh on them as that was 15 years ago and they were pretty old then....
  17. 1 - Celtic 2 - Dundee Utd 3 - Motherwell 4 - Hearts 5 - ICT 6 - St Mirren 7 - St Johnstone 8 - Aberdeen 9 - Hibs 10 - Kilmarnock 11 - Ross County 12 - Dundee Our squad will gel a lot better than last season giving us our first ever top 6 finish. Aberdeen will struggle once Jonny gets injured. Kilmarnock's financial problems will affect their on-field performance. Dundee are certs for relegation. If you stick £1000 on Celtic for the title you would get back about £1030. Taking inflation and loss of savings interest into account you would be lucky to break even if you won the bet.
  18. Loved HMHB when I was about 18. Still got Back in the DHSS up in the loft. Should really give it another play. I would prefer to give Cooper a chance rather than have Piermayr or Proctor back. With County and Dundee in the league there's a bit more of a safety margin to bring one or two youngsters through this season.
  19. Ujpest Dozsa. That takes me back to Subbuteo in the 80s! So who's signing for Dukla Prague then?
