  1. You have to take a positive out of every negative and the positive was an improved all round performances against Hibs. The defence was much improved and we created enough chances to get a result, although we do lack a killer instinct up front.
  2. DEJA BREW COMING TO A CINEMA NEAR YOU
  3. There are only 4 days left until the transfer window closes so Brewster has little time to assess his squad and bring in new players so here are some suggestions for him: Paul Dixon at Dundee, Stewart Greacen at Morton, Kevin Cuthbert at St. Johnstone, Kieran Westwood at Carlisle, Ben Williams at Crewe, Charlie Mulgrew at Wolves, Christian Roberts at Swindon, Grant Brebner at Melbourne Victory, Lee Baxter at Landskrona, Graeme Smith on loan from Rangers, Malky Mackay at Watford and Jamie McCunnie at Hartlepool. Any other suggestions, send them in.
  4. The recent takeover of Man City by Thaksin Shinawatra highlighted the desperate state British football is in. Despite the fact Shinawatra is under investigation by the Thai Government Man City were all to keen to take his money. Is the clubs desire to be the best so bad they are prepared to take in a possible criminal? I really hope the state of football doesn't get any worse. :33:
  5. heck, you could buy half the teams in the spl and sell all their good players to get some money back.
  6. what about Kenny Arthur at Partick Thistle?
  7. After our dreadful performance against Dundee United I am going to give Brewster a chance to turn things around. I am still not convinced by his ability but am prepared to give him some time. he needs to sort out the defence for a start and fitness as we fall apart near the end of games. Finally I really hope we dont lose to Arbroath but if we play like we did today i wouldn't fancy us to beat anyone.
  8. and why was Deano on the bench yet again? shouldn't he be given a chance in the first team?
  9. another game and another defeat. defensively we were shocking and our strikers failed to score again today. lets hope we can beat Arbroath midweek, get some goals and kick start our season.
  10. we had Ally a few years back when we were in the first division and I didn't think he was good enough then so why should a spell at Clach change that?
  11. agree with you 100%. completely disgraceful and, as usual, the old firm don't seem to count and they get away with it
  12. you just have to look at the premiership to see the amount of money involved in football these days. Man City and Man Utd have spent over 50 million on players this summer, Liverpool close to that sum of money and even Sunderland have spent over 30 million on players. In Europe Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all spent big. The sad fact is, to be the best in football, you have to spend tons.
  13. Great man and a club legend. All the best for the future
  14. it would be great to have mark back at the club. the amount of games he won for us with his top-class saving is unbelievable.
  15. build a stand so it bcomes an all-seater and make the programmes free on match days. and make the away fans have to pay ?20 for a half-time pie.
  16. fair enough. who would you suggest?
  17. gotta give Brewster credit though He managed to get a two year deal at Caley after his appaling record at United. He just couldn't handle the over-paid and under-performing players there. Maybe he didn't like the fact their ego's were as big as his.
  18. So who is the biggest cult hero at Caley?
  19. As the Hearts saga continues, I wanted to get peoples thoughts on it. I think its wrong that Vladimir Romanov has come in and ruined the club. Apart from George Burley, Romanov has employed crap managers with no ability (Rix,Ivanauskas and now Korobochka) and its a shame for the Hearts fans. They have sold all the decent Scottish players bar Berra and its chok-a-block with Eastern Europeans. Most of the team is comprised of crap Lithuanians who can't get a game at FBK Kaunas (a club also owned by Romanov) and are shipped off on loan to Hearts. I think it should be sorted out before it ruins the club.
  20. has the guy that started this topic got brain damage? he loves Eidur Gudjohnsen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :020:
  21. clubs like Barcelona are fully run by the fans so why can't we do it? It might not make sense financially but at least it would be run by people that care about the club.
  22. he didnt play particuarly well against rangers, he just stood out because the rest of our team was crap that day.
  23. the third goal not the first
  24. clach because they are like our little brother really. Norwich City because I had a mate who supported them. And Trowbridge Town because i play for their youth team
  25. we have a few days left and i think we should be thinking seriously about buying a new keeper. Michael Fraser is a decent shotstopper but cant seem to communicate with his defence which was quite apparent when rangers scored their third goal becuase of a breakdown of communication in defence. Ally Ridgers isnt good enough for the spl and if michael gets injured long term we should be worried.
