i think we must have been one of the worst professional teams in Britain in 2008 anyone have stats of teams that have been awful in other leagues in 2008?

I would like to point everyone in the direction of Blackburn. Paul Ince came in as the first ever black english gaffer in the EPL. Right now Blackburn are under acheiving, their players are misfiring, he has lost the dressing room and the board decided he had to go. Couple of pointers for the Brew boys: 1. 'Brew has not had enough time' I hear you cry. He has had a year longer than Ince and has done nothing to deserve it 2.'He is still young. He might possibly get better if we let him relegate our team.' Ince was also young. There is no way he can continue at the club. The players do not respect him, attendances are dwindling, fans are disgruntled, tactics are ridiculous and the key point for me is HE HAS NOT LEARNT FROM HIS MISTAKES. He makes the same ones time and again. That to me is the sign of a poor manager. Pro Brewster boys how much more evidence do you need?

Its a shame really that your paymaster has such different opinions from you

signed good luck with the petition mate oh, and I see Bayne got another goal today for yiz

i think its more to do with the fact that brewster brought proctor to the club and so always stands by him. good to see wilson playing and fair play to brew for playing a 4-4-2 heres hoping a good result today

i respect the fact that you would like to continue to be subjected to brews baffling style of management and the often dire on pitch performances but most of us have given the guy enought time and opportunities to prove himself and im afraid we've had enough.

i agree 100%

you mean like a dressed up monkey clashing the cymbals and doing backflips
-
Is that the Imrie favouritism again ? Baz on the left I suppose he signed imrie so he probably feels he has to stand by him same with proctor why did he play against rangers when he clearly wasnt match fit?

[edit] Foreigners on the Qatar Team Because of its small population Qatar has included a small number of foreign players who have played in Qatar for more than two years, contrary to popular belief that the whole squad is made up of only South American and non-Arab African players. Many players who are born and brought up in Qatar have been mistaken as foreign players brought to the country by the FA for naturalization. The following list is of all foreign and non-Arab African players who play on the Qatar team. F?bio C?sar Montezine - 1/1 Brazilian Marcone Amaral - 1/1 Brazilian Abdulla Koni - 1/1 Senegalese (played in Qatar for 9 years before getting citizenship) Mohamed Saqr - 1/1 Senegalese Qasem Burhan - 1/1 Senegalese Sebasti?n Quintana - 1/1 Uruguayan atar

I have to agree that Brewster simply has to go. Yes he is a good fitness coach but what exactly has that done to help us? Consider the evidence: He simply cannot motivate his team. To be successful nowadays you have to have good man management skills which he doesn't have. At the moment the players are playing without passion or commitment and lack leadership on the pitch. To often this season his disastrous tactical decisions have cost us valuable points and left the players confused as to what they should be doing. We have already thrown away leads this season against the likes of Motherwell, Hibernian and St Mirren. That is EIGHT league points thrown away from winning positions in the league after just TEN league games. Over the course of 38 games that amount to throwing away around THIRTY league points. That is a huge number which could almost certainly be the difference between top 6 and relegation. The players seem unable to show any kind of spirit once we have gone behind in games. True, we won from behind against Flkirk but that was after they had failed to win their first five games. The home form is diabolical. 5 wins in 10 months is unforgiveable. True, the atmosphere at home games can sometimes be quite subdued but that is not a good enough excuse. Brewster likes to play counter attacking football which, while fine away from home, is suicidal at home. He cannot change his tactics to suit the opposition nor the situation. Too often he leaves decisions in games till very late in the match and therefore too late for these players to make much of an impact. We lack a cutting edge up front. With no regular goalscorer up front I believe our strikers are all stuck on just 2 goals. Many of you are talking about good signings such as Imrie, Proctor and Rooney and, while I agree that they have all been good signings, just how many of them were actually made by Brewster? He may be the public face of our club but its quite possible that behind the scenes Donald Park et al where making these crucial decisions. Now Donald has left, there appears to be a lack of leadership from Brewster and Thomson. Quite evidently, players such as Ian Black no longer have respect for Brewster. When a manager loses the respect of his most important players, he simply must go. He has had time. He has had as much chance to succeed as any other of our managers. Now its time for the board to have the bottle to stand up and be counted. Our SPL survival could depend on it. Oh, and before anybody decides to come out with it, I have no personal issues with Brewster. I have met the guy and he is a decent bloke. He is just quite evidently out of his depth.

particularly remember his last minute piledriver against man city in the season when pompey managed 'the great escape'

1. Rangers ( Lafferty and Velicka are highly unconvincing signings however I rate Kenny Miller highly he was let down by a shocking Derby side last season. McGregor is a class keeper, defence and midfield are the best in the league.) 2. Celtic ( Boruc is world class and often hides the fact that the defence is so poor bar McManus. McGeady and Robson are quality, the rest of the midfield not so. McDonald is a top striker and will get goals but I can see Rangers winning it this time.) 3. Hibs ( Fletcher and Benjelloun are great up front and guarantee goals, players like O'Brien are very good in midfield, defence is average although Rob Jones stands out. They will just pip Utd to 3rd I think. 4. Dundee United ( Nobody likes him but Hunt is a very good striker. Midfield is looking average except Willo Flood who is a fantastic player. Defence is very good with Dods, Kenneth and Wilkie, however they may miss Szamatulski in goal.) 5. Motherwell ( Will recover from the traumas of last season. Smith is a good keeper, defence is very good with Hammell and Craigan along with thug Quinn, midfield looks poor but Clarkson and Porter is a good strike partnership.) 6.ICT ( A good defence signing and we'll be in the top 6. The league's 3rd best midfield and an exciting forward line of Barrowman and Niculae (providing he stays) will hopefully not be let down by defensive frailties.) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 7. Falkirk ( totally average defence, a very good midfielder with O'Brien, Cregg and Latapy and a decent forward line will be enough to put them ahead of Hearts and Aberdeen.) 8. Hearts ( poorly run, no current manager and looking a total shambles. talented players like Kingston, Berra, Wallace and Driver can't do all the work on their own and if they leave Hearts are in real trouble.) 9.Killie ( a lack of any notable strikers will let them down again. defence isn't great, midfield is ok) 10.Aberdeen ( will have an absolute shocker. no reasons behind this prediction, just feel like it might happen.) 11.Hamilton ( will struggle but will stay up. Offiong is a good striker and the money generated when they sell wonderkid McCarthy will keep them in the SPL for years.) 12. St Mirren ( squad looks awful bar one or two exceptions. not even Gus MacPherson can keep this team up.)

What would you do if you were in complete control of ICT?
ICTJackson replied to a topic in Caley Thistle
Some very good ideas here :021: A link with a foreign club would be good maybe a romanian team since we of course have niculae it would raise the profile of our club and also give us first choice on players. a loan link would also be good for our youngsters to gain experience. -
How do you know that? he was playing for wycombe in the league 2 play offs which were on sky. could have seen him play then maybe
-
he has also brought players such as phil mcguire and deano to this club. swings and roundabouts i guess
