  1. The BBC have said that a visiting committee has visited all the teams grounds and facilities and they favour Annan's bid but teams may vote against Annan because of the distance it takes to get there not sure if i've heard that excuse used before :024:
  2. Just a poll to see who you think will be voted into the SFL.
  3. the man 4 the job i was making a pathetic attempt at sarcasm
  4. this is the former livingston guy right? i always thought he was a talented player
  5. to be honest most people on this site talk mince so i didnt want to be left out
  6. weve already saved dargos career once but i doubt it could happen a second time to be honest
  7. this is a pointless post since their is no deadline so people will keep posting till we all drown because of global warming good idea tho :022:
  8. I can now reveal next seasons defensive partner for realiable phil: TITUS BRAMBLE!!!
  9. :drinking10: :drinking10: :drinking10: party time
  10. Rumour has it we are considering a bid for Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Sergio Torres. A decent midfield player and his wages are quite low so he shouldnt cost too much. Very popular with the Wycombe fans I hear.
  11. Just saw a thing about it on the official club website. basically fans vote for their favourite goal scored in the first decade of the SPL and a shortlist of 10 nominations is drawn up. surely rankins goal v rangers has got to be up there?
  12. yep ?1.8M for 5 goals in 32 games. one of the many poor signings made by paul le guen. libor sionko and karl svensson were also terrible.
  13. Its sad to see a club like Rotherham in financial turmoil. Its a world away from the EPL idiots who call themselves 'fans'. Good luck Rotherham hope you pull through. :021:
  14. Caley Till I Die!!
  15. I think Hamilton will stay up next season. They have some very talented players and ok they have a young squad but im sure alan hansen will tell you that you CAN win things with kids. Richard Offiong is a very good striker and 17 year old James McCarthy is wanted by some top European sides. Cant see McCarthy staying for much longer but im sure Hamilton will get a decent fee for him.
  16. If he plays well there it could seal a move to hearts- with their love of eastern europeans n all. Oh, and a class goal marius keep it up :021:
  17. yesterday was my first game since that diabolical display against rangers on the first day of the season (I live in england so i dont really get the chance). Good preformance from the lads today even if killie were not full strength. we could have had more if wyness put away his chances and tokely almost got one too. a good performance from imrie and wilson especially and a stunning goal from niculae. great celebration as well. did anyone else notice he shook the refs hand when he was subbed at the end? Class.
  18. i completely agree with this point you only have to look at examples like michael kightly to know this is the case brewster is NOT a fool for looking at league 2, he is a fool for looking at shrewsbury v wrexham instead of a team like peterbrough who have aaron mclean a quality player destined for the top
  19. I can think of a few: for some reason a few people i know in england rate noel hunt he is an awful striker and he has no pace ross mccormack marius niculae :023: and half the old firm
  20. lots of people have made this point before but yes it is true
  21. WARNING: Another boring rant from a neanderthal fan I'm afraid this is yet another example of incompetence from Brew and Malky. Not only have they got themselves in a big heap of sh1t over this whole Chester dispute but they obviously know little about football. Instead of going to watch one of the many talented players in League 2 (there actually are quite a lot) they chose to watch Shrewsbury v Wrexham and Chester City. Wrexham happen to be bottom of League 2 while Chester and Shrewsbury are in the lower reaches of the division and have absolutely no talent whatsoever. And then they are surprised when nobody is SPL standard!!!!!! Unlike many fans on here I actually know that there is talent in the division and even I could have chosen better matches to scout than the 2 buffoons in charge of this club. :020: By the way, before anyone asks me to point out the talent in League 2 here it is (take note Brewster): Keith Andrews(MK Dons) Aaron McLean and Craig Mackail-Smith (Peterborough) Sergio Torres(Wycombe) Peter Leven(Chesterfield) Garry Thompson(Morecambe) Pablo Mills(Rotherham) Jason Pucheon and Albert Adomah(Barnet) Lee Frecklington(Lincoln)

  23. at least we arent the only mismanaged club :020:
  24. Quote from Malky Thomson: "I'm sure come the summer, clubs will be wanting some of our players, but that's football and you have to deal with it. Marius, I'm sure, will be no exception because he's done fantastically well here. There's no doubt that myself and (manager) Craig Brewster want to keep him here. When players come to your club and they play well then they'll always be open to offers." Yet more wise words from Malky
  25. im up in inverness just now so ill be going 2 the game havent been 2 a game for ages hope its a decent game and brew gives some fringe players a chance
