  1. I was at school last time we(City) beat that lot at Old Trafford, loads of scrapping in the school playground on the Monday......fantastic result (and performance) Thought the kits looked good, as did the numbering 1-11. It'll never come back though
  2. If they are going to seed the Big 4 so they don't play each other, are they going to seed the bottom 6 so they don't either? And how do they know who the Big 4 and bottom 6 are before the season even starts? How can it be a fair league when they have different fixtures ffs? nonsense idea.....money grabbing bastrads!!...........(considers previous approval of Shinawatra taking over City... :023:)
  3. Man City........seeing as I was taken down there aged 2, and its taken me 40 odd years to come back. Exchanged a match ticket in one Premier League for another......and you know what? You are still allowed tackles up here! Just as I left city came good......just as I arrived ICT started winning too....think I'll stay a while :021:
  4. in Inverness, for service and MOT. The yellow pages is just a lottery Ta
  5. lose the kids in the Jorvik centre and get slaughtered on the Mickelgate pub run failing that the Railway Museum is surprisingly interesting, the Minster too, but that tiny street full of Georgian shops...it's a shambles...
  6. oh how I hope it's up here 40 years of taunting their fans can be continued for me....I'll make you all honourary City fans for the day Their fans can fly direct from Gatwick can't they?
  7. McFadden kissed his black armband after scoring today in tribute with Phil nice touch
  8. what about loans from the EPL? loads of good youngsters not getting games down there cos of all the forriners, don't think wages would be that much of an issue as the EPL teams would want to retain the players in case they came good.
  9. a tragedy like this transcends club loyalties, truly a sad day, comisserations to his family and friends though nothing can replace their loss I was a ManCity season ticket holder when Marc Viven Foe died at the Confederation Cup, the response from fans of other clubs was amazing. Tributes by the thousand arrived from ManU, L'pool and the London clubs. For a brief period we were all thinking the same thoughts. Worrying that it seems to be a recurring tragedy amongst sportspeople A minutes silence hardly seems enough in the circumstances RIP
  10. amazing how ugly they are when you can't see the cheeky girls backsides
  11. Which one? The one that looks like Beaker from the Muppets or the chipmunk?
  12. deffo banter, he had the good grace to applaud the north stand at the end of the match (even if I'm sure I did see a rather less pleasant gesture earlier when the ref wasn't looking) best crowd shout of the day 'ref that was 2-footed, they've been on about those tackles all week, don't they have telly in your village?'
  13. aye, they're in the club shop should be a good summer, Thierry Henry is the photo for September :003:
  14. tragic news about Phil O'Donnell ..... puts other things in perspective RIP
  15. ....and a nice bit of banter with Alan Combe in the Killie goal :015: ran out of maccaroni pies again :007:
  16. tickets for Killie seemed to be flying out the door, see what mullering the Old Firm does for sales eh :022: doing what I can by dragging a couple of Xmas visitors along for the game...one of them asked me 'will it be cold?' :015: :015: :015:
  17. cheers p'raps Brew could do with a run out
  18. aye me too (in my mind I still play like Eddie Gray)
  19. just goes to show what a team prepared to have a go can do...............congrats to Brew and his players As that was my first ICT vs Old Firm clash, would I be correct in presuming they are always that enjoyable? Thought so
  20. ahh, I understand all about glory-hunters having seen the Utd fans pouring up the M6 from Devon and the Home Counties for years Old Firm = ManU is something warming to the heart, everyone needs someone to hate Lets f#ck em today
  21. enlighten me here...as I'm only recently returned to the country of my birth...games against the old firm....? Do other SPL teams treat them as a cup final and have a go, or accept the least battering they can get away with? I've been to a few old firm derbies, but not games involving one of them and another non-old firm team. Down south bigger teams tend to inspire smaller clubs to take them on. City when they were in Div 3 had 46 cup finals as other teams tried to take their scalp. I got that impression when ICT did that number on Celtic (Caley Thistle go ballistic....). but is that normal (the having a go. not necessarily beating them!)?
  22. Realistically can't see the Tics not scoring, but I reckon 2-1 to ICT...... :024: ICT are on a roll right now, no reason why it can't continue...... :023: Btw......Brew needs to borrow some defenders in Jan.....got a couple at City who would do a great job till the summer. Shall I call in a favour and get the subject broached at City?Failing that anyone got Brew's email addy? :001:
  23. ..mainly cos of the program title, 'Cunntas', and some young oik had a dig at ICT Said he'd just moved to Inverness from somewhere remote and ''at least we have a decent football team....<long pause>...and Caley Thistle'' Presume a Clachnacuddin fan?? He needs educating. This isn't such a big city, should be easy to find....about 21, ginger and with lots of spots
  24. 6 points....doesn't happen often, I'm just making the most of it :023:
