  1. Reckon I am going to Bury myself on Tuesday - should be a great Gigg.
  2. Chorley 13 Droylsden 1 WTF
  3. Just watched the game and it was just like watching Barcelona.
  4. LOL but I am reliably informed that it is a piccy of Doofers Dad expressing the freedom of retirement.
  5. Jhesus what does he have to do ? Please all write 100 times - Terry Butcher fecked up our season. John Hughes took on a job that was always going to be difficult. If we had been awarded a stonewall late penalty we would have won a cup. Hughes will be counted for next season.
  6. Last night surely emphasises that Yogi is experimenting and wants to find out what his best team, the best style to play, he already has a Plan A and A Plan B and he must be considering what he needs for the next season. I actually think that we will be 4th but I really hope that we do not get into Europe via the back door. There are quite a few players who need to perform to make their case for next season. There is no doubt that we have not reached the expectations of earlier in the season but we were fecked by Butcher not Hughes. Personally I think, and hope, that there is a touch of sarcasm and stubbornness in some of his recent comments. Will phone Kenny to see if he wants me to offer therapy sessions just in case he is suffering from grandiose delusions.
  7. According to Mr Seethe the song to be sung is "You're just a small town in the Highlands"
  8. There are some chants that I actually find amusing - e.g the food poisoning epidemic in Paisley and even the Kerr ditty but the Mrs Brittain one is shameful. Why didn't someone tell the singers to button it - I would have.
  9. Ever since I saw the way that they dressed on Aintree Friday !!
  10. Agree Gordie and probably what we needed was a manager of similar ilk in regard to style of play so why did the Board appoint Yogi if his consideration was to alter it ? And if that was not the case then why are they backing him. I am afraid that this season is dead and buried and we will continue to play as we are. Some may be crazy BUT if this is a plan for the future and players who are more likely to fit in the system are being sought then we may have to wait to see the outcome.
  11. I am off to Laddies day at Aintree and I have to admit that fer one of the first times ever that I will not be in any hurry to get back home and watch the game on telly. It will be very interesting to see if the new system is compared with the manner of the last derby.
  12. There is one other issue and that is what was asked of Yogi when he was interviewed for the job. If the Board had done their screen correctly they surely must have noted the choice of systems that had previously been favoured by Hughes. They must also have surely decided on what systems would be of most benefit for the current squad and the way forward for the club. I would find it inconceivable if one of the questions posed to the candidates would not have been as to how they envisaged the future, what system would they be utilising and how they would make such changes, which players they felt would fit in to that system and what personnel changes they would envisage in the future. So to me the Board either were amateurish or they accepted the Yogi vision of the future.
  13. There are a few problems with what Hughes is trying to introduce - this is a system which is unknown to ICT fans. We are more used to wingers and playing on the break. Most managers have their own systems and usually try to stick to it. To me Butcher stuck by his system put tried to put square pegs in round holes and had his clear favourites and stubbornly and arrogantly stuck by them. Hughes has his own system and again he is presently having to put square pegs in to round holes. His folly is by changing it so abruptly and he needs to sign 3-4 newbies who fit neater in to his system. At least he has a Plan B but will he use it. He is also beginning to demonstrate who he values and who he doesn't. Personally I prefer playing with width and the 4-2-2-1-1 system. To play the Hughes way in my opinion requires 6 players who concentrate on defending, two forwards in a combination of target man and pace plus a pacy, mobile in the hole player.
  14. RIG is offshore
  15. Marius Niculae fecked Caley Thistle and broke CC - Craig Brewster fecked Caley Thistle - Butcher fecked the likes of Tokely, Munro and co and was an arrogant feckin tatw who left ICT in the lurch.
  16. Not been there fer the last few games but was feeling it before - Has that vital "togetherness" feel gone. Good caption of facebook showing the league after the last six features - can anybody post it please. That smacked me in the chops.
  17. I have a further fear - I recall that we mistook Marius Niculae for Daniel Niculae when the dodgy videos came through from Bucharest. Who the feck could be the double of RL ? Could it be the Arnold Coleman double ?
  18. :cry:No reason why we cant pick up 13-15 points from that lot
  19. Is it not amazing how many co-dependents are coming out of the closet. If there were such great things on the horizon why did the erstwhile Messiah dump us ?
  20. From a psychological perspective it is interesting to note the power of the narcissist and the derision and scorn placed on his successor. It would also appear that the psyche places the most "successful" in regard to the SPL. Personally it would be close run thing between Pele and Robbo fer me as those were the days when we were at our most entertaining and our most resolute.
  21. Perhaps you have tunnel vision ?
  22. Jhesus what if I got it wrong - what if Kenny Cameron is the Head Narcissist !!
  23. Could be worse - we could be Hibs fans
  24. He should save his singing voice for the Derby matches next season.
  25. Although I am not fully in agreement my contact with current season ticket holders also suggests that 50% will not be renewing for 2014-2015.
